“Caring has the gift of making the ordinary special.”
Every moment spent with this man was one to remember… because of the way he made you FEEL. The way he led. The way he listened. The way he competed. The way he cared.
Coach Brown, thank you for giving your all to this place and its people.
I’m grateful that some young person like me was lucky enough to learn from you and witness your greatness (even though to you, it’s just who you are).

Grieve, process and feel whatever you feel: anger, fear, loss, disbelief, disappointment, sadness, terror, etc.
But, please don’t just internalize your feelings, and keep them bottled up.
They want us separated and isolated- that creates hopelessness.
Stay connected to people!

Trump didn’t destroy the Republican Party- no one person has the power to do that.
He wasn’t even a Republican.
The scores of powerful Republican leaders- all of whom knew Trump was a threat & a fraud- who coddled him destroyed their own party.
They will live in infamy forever.

As the great Congressman John Lewis reminded us, democracy is not a state—it is an act.
Now is our time to act. And together, we will win: IWillVote.com.

If you’re still on the fence about voting in this election, think about what really matters – about the values we were taught, the kind of country we want to be, and how this is a moment when your vote really does count.
Your vote could determine the fate of our republic – the world that our children and grandchildren will inherit. It’s an awesome responsibility. But what an extraordinary privilege it is to live in a democracy that gives each of us the opportunity to make our voices heard.

The ACA protects folks with pre-existing conditions from being denied coverage, allows young people to stay on a parent's plan until they’re 26, and expands Medicaid. But Donald Trump still wants to end it – and he only has “concepts of a plan” for how he’d replace it.
We can’t let that happen. Vote for @KamalaHarris and @Tim_Walz to not only protect your health care, but to make it more affordable for everyone.

For some reason, I have been thinking about this moment a lot today.
It's from John McCain in 2008 at a town hall.
The woman begins to espouse conspiracy theories about Barack Obama's nationality.
He immediately shuts it down.
"No ma'am. He's a decent family man."

This is how dictators destroy free nations. They threaten those who speak against them with death. We cannot entrust our country and our freedom to a petty, vindictive, cruel, unstable man who wants to be a tyrant. #Womenwillnotbesilenced #VoteKamala

As I talk with friends who live in other countries, I realize they aren’t just watching what is happening here with great interest- they are absolutely counting on us to do the right thing- not just for the United States, but for the world.
