Saturday will be the first time since the 1991 World Series that an Atlanta major league professional sports team will play a Game Seven in a Championship Final series.
It’s Appalachia. A bear is probably the best case scenario of things that could have come out of those woods to take in a match.

Biggest thing for me is the start times moving off the half hour to the top of the hour. Also I will be spending the winter speaking an orange ball match or three into existence so you can blame me if it happens.

Atlanta United 2 forward Arif Kovac is the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro MVP. Kovac won the Golden Boot with 20 goals and helped ATL UTD 2 reach the playoffs for the first time.
Reminder: #ATLUTD has offered him a first-team, senior roster contract.
I know fans travel for once in a lifetime moments but I’d be beside myself if my team’s home field was this loud for the visitors trying to clinch a World Series in my building.
Man, what a win for #RSL
All you can do is play the schedule in front of you and they just overturned a road deficit to put themselves in great shape for the last few matches. No Morgan against San Jose but hopefully he’s 100% for decision day.
We were talking in the press box last weekend and I mentioned that I’m never sure what Saba will give you on any given night, but you’ll be getting 100% of whatever it is he cooks up. But the Saba Revival Tour has been a delight.
Seems like a good time to mention how big Morgan has been in this little stretch run. #RSL came out of the international break and he has just done everything you’d ask from a designated player. He’s been making guys better, now he’s finding the net too.
RSL are off the mat. Saba and Morgan flip the scoreline in less than 10 minutes but Morgan is down after putting that goal away.
Weird first 45 for #RSL. Had some chances. Rafa stepped up when he needed to as well. Need to find a goal or 3 but that clean sheet is looking mighty nice. Will be interested in changes Pablo makes.
Given how the RSL/SJ match ended earlier this month, might be for the best that he can’t get another yellow there next time out.

One of the fascinating things about Saba in the channels with Morgan for RSL is how he literally never stops moving but it’s like he’s tied to a randomizer at times. Which is hell on a defense but also on combo play.
