This fake news “author,” @VanityFair, and everyone else promoting the defamatory attacks in this farcical TDS-inspired smear campaign against Jared Kushner should just sign over their houses now and start begging for forgiveness.
What a complete pile of bullshit!

.@VanityFair posted an excerpt from a book containing outrageous and categorically false allegations.
The allegations made by this author are completely insane and never happened. We denied every one of these claims on the record, yet the author failed to provide a single shred of evidence to substantiate any of them. No bank statements, wire transfer records, account numbers, transaction dates, or other verifiable details were provided to support these extraordinary accusations.
During the period in question, I was one of the most scrutinized people in the world, subjected to intense media coverage, multiple congressional investigations, and a special counsel investigation. I voluntarily cooperated with these investigations, providing over 30 hours of testimony. None of these allegations ever surfaced, because none of these events ever happened.
These are outrageous fabrications being presented as investigative journalism. This is not journalism. It is a mixture of fantasy, fiction, and advocacy, written by someone who is either deeply disturbed or acting with sinister intent.

Still waiting for a response from Vanity Fair on this one...
There are many things in this book excerpt that was published in Vanity Fair that don't add up, but two are extremely questionable:
1. I don't think it is even technically possible to put together such an account in the bank of Israel, Netanyahu can't really be a signatory and these accounts are under significant monitoring by career civil servants
2. To suggest that this whole thing happens in a triangle between Kushner, Friedman and Bibi seems to me impossible considering what I know about the relationships

There's a new version of this post
F them up, Chad! 👊
My statement as Jared’s attorney:
“The central allegation in this book is categorically false. These are not questions of interpretation or competing recollections: there are no bank accounts. They don’t exist. These are egregious and defamatory claims without a shred of evidence to substantiate them.”

Before publication, we sent Simon & Schuster a detailed 13-page letter responding to and categorically denying the extraordinary allegations made against my client, Jared Kushner, and challenging the total absence of supporting evidence.
Vanity Fair has now published an excerpt amplifying these false and defamatory allegations. We have seen no credible evidence substantiating any of these claims, and we question what independent verification Vanity Fair conducted before publishing them.
We intend to pursue legal action against those responsible and hold them accountable.

Let me be clear: We intend to pursue legal action against those responsible for publishing and disseminating these categorically false and defamatory allegations. We are preserving all legal rights and remedies and will address these matters in the appropriate forum, not through exchanges on social media.

So in other words, the story about @SusieWiles was completely made up.
Nice to see a correction…
Wiles ‘offered positive reinforcement’ for press secretary’s Fox News interview ahead of her exit, but had no direct role in setting it up.
Note: This replaces an earlier post that mischaracterized Wiles’ role in connection with the interview.

Politico is the worst outlet in Washington. They constantly peddle false gossip and malicious lies from clueless anonymous sources to demean the Trump Administration.
Much of my time as Press Secretary was spent disproving and killing fake stories they were adamant about writing.
They may have issued a correction on this one, but the damage has already been done.

Politico’s reporters and editors were presented with irrefutable evidence disproving their previous reporting, yet chose to ignore facts, peddle lies, and manufacture controversy. They retracted one story, but there are two more they must address.
Politico’s reckless disregard for the truth is a disgrace to journalism. At this point, the question isn’t whether Politico got the facts wrong — it’s why its editors continue to publish claims they know are false. Politico should be embarrassed.

Great to be back in upstate New York to announce the huge $21 BILLION funding for two new semiconductor fabs thanks to President Trump’s historic trade deal with Japan.
Japan is providing the funding for these high tech production facilities, and our partnership with GlobalFoundries will deliver 2 million silicon wafers from these massive new facilities in upstate New York, creating 27,000 construction and related jobs and more than 1,000 high-skilled high paying manufacturing jobs.
We are bringing semiconductor chip manufacturing BACK to America, strengthening our national security, and delivering for our American workers.

Great job @USTradeRep @JamiesonGreer! 🇺🇸
Eli Lilly’s $5 BILLION investment to manufacture cancer drugs in Virginia is possible because of @POTUS’ competitive tax and trade policies. This new plant will create hundreds of jobs and strengthen the supply chains that patients and providers rely on.
Today’s groundbreaking will ensure the United States can continue to lead in pharmaceutical innovation while strengthening its ability to produce life-saving “Made In America” medicines.
To date, the Trump Administration has secured 26 deals with pharmaceutical manufacturers, including Eli Lilly, to manufacture in America and lower prescription drug prices for Americans. Branded drug prices have fallen over 3% year-over-year — the steepest decline since 1963!
