The Sport Newcastle Team of the Year 2022 was awarded to @NorthUniSport Mens Rugby League 1st Team.
The undefeated 21-22 @BUCSsport Championship and League title winners.
The trophy was presented by @FalconsRugby & @EnglandRugby legend Mark Wilson.
5 years, 50+ games unbeaten. Congrats to all the lads, Past and present who were part of that incredible run.
Not to be tonight but we had a right dig and proud of everyone.
Championships aren’t won in November.
It’s a loss for the 1st team.
That’s our first loss since October 2017. Although tough to take we will take a second to celebrate that incredible run.
Congrats to Beckett, better team on the night.
