Or did ancient civilizations get there first?
Their stories reveal something interesting:
Picture-perfect descriptions of what sound an awful lot like today’s advanced robotics.
What explains that?
In this episode of @Codxlegendarium, we dig through stories thousands of years old from China, India, Greece, and others to try and find out.

Thousands of Falun Gong practitioners rallied worldwide this weekend marking 27 years of China's persecution against this peaceful group.
Millions more — calling for an end to their imprisonment, torture, and forced organ harvesting.
The Falun Gong Protection Act is advancing in the Senate after unanimous House passage.
A new report also documents over 600 China-linked repression cases against Falun Gong practitioners in the U.S. since 2020.
Thousands of practitioners and human rights supporters will gather at the Lincoln Memorial in DC on Thursday to call for an end to the persecution.

July 20 marks the beginning of a persecution that has continued for more than 27 years.
For many Shen Yun artists, the persecution of Falun Gong in China isn't a chapter in history—it's their family's story. Parents, grandparents, siblings, and other loved ones have been imprisoned, tortured, or persecuted for their faith. Some artists experienced the persecution themselves before finding freedom abroad.
Many still have loved ones living under the threat of persecution today.
These experiences are part of what inspired the founding of Shen Yun. Through dance and music, the artists share stories of courage, compassion, and resilience—bringing to the stage what so many in China are still forbidden to tell.

🇺🇸 America to Beijing: Hands off Tibet.
Just days after a Tibetan activist self-immolated outside the UN, the State Department is reaffirming U.S. support for Tibetans’ right to their culture, language, and faith — free from CCP interference.
“The United States is committed to supporting the unalienable human rights and aspirations of Tibetans."
This comes as China just rammed through its new “Ethnic Unity” law — forcing Mandarin in schools, erasing Tibetan identity, and claiming the right to punish critics overseas.
Human rights groups say it codifies transnational repression targeting Tibetans, Uyghurs, Hong Kongers, and Falun Gong.
Congress is moving resolutions in both chambers to condemn China's new law.
Tibetans are tearing up copies of the law in protest.

“Under the CCP, you’re more valuable dead than you are alive.”
And @JoshJPhilipp means it literally, referring to China’s state-backed organ harvesting system.
“Imagine you’re a Chinese citizen … you know that if you get injured in a car accident and you’re written as an organ donor, you’re not dead and the doctor knows he can make $50,000 by sending you to the chop shop.”
“I’d be terrified.”

My family escaped Communism to come to the U.S.
Today in the Oval Office, I asked President Trump why he's warning Americans about Communism in a new statement. His response was powerful:
“You're going to get free rent, you're going to get free houses, you're going to get free food, you're going to get free everything, but eventually that ends, and it leads to death, destruction, and squalor 100% of the time.”
On Mayor Mamdani in NYC: “I don't understand why he thinks it's okay for all these companies that pay hundreds of millions of dollars in taxes a year to leave, because you're not going to have any tax base.”
“Free enterprise is tougher to sell, but that's what's made our country great, and that's why it's great again now.”

"My mother, this is the fifth time she has been arrested in China."
Outside the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C., demonstrators called for the release of roughly 17 Falun Gong practitioners detained in China since April 15.
Among them is Wang Youmei, mother of U.S. citizen Alisa Zhou. After serving 15 days of administrative detention in Wuhan, Wang was placed under criminal detention. Her family says they have no information about where she is being held.
Also at the rally was 69-year-old Tong Shuzhen, who traveled from New York to appeal for her sister, Tong Shuying, who was previously tortured and has now been arrested again.

"Falun Gong are generally Han Chinese practitioners, but it's a group that the Chinese Communist Party has literally tried to wipe out, which is the definition of a genocide, and these continue to take place inside of China, a lot of violence, forced organ harvesting."
