Hard truth is black people (in general) practice a racialized form of Christianity, which severely undermines the faith's ability to transform. That's why I obsess over racial idolatry.
Referring specifically to black American Christians. It's an abomination that we tolerate our identity and culture being aligned/defined by hip hop music. Our toleration of this screams we're not serious about our walk with Jesus.
If we were serious about our faith, we would hate the people and industries defining us as reprobates.
The rejection of Christ has consequences. People are afraid to call out the obvious rejection of biblical principles and values because they fear having their sin exposed.
