Shame to see such a sparse crowd at European Athletics. Just checked ticket prices. Category A for Friday night when it’s big W800m is £150. That’s mad

The only "cheating" in elections Trump and MAGA ever complain about are the elections they lose, even in the same places with the same processes in place. Their greater goal is to diminish trust in the system to justify crackdowns.
Reminder: The tabulators used in Georgia in Nov. 2020. Were the same tabulators used in Georgia in Nov. 2024. (and every intervening election)

Another British-born marathon runner called Hicks making his mark after moving to the USA. Thomas Hicks was born in Birmingham 150 years ago before emigrating and winning the Olympic marathon at St. Louis in 1904, having finished second in Boston earlier in the year. Could history repeat itself with Charles Hicks at LA28?

Lots of talk about the ‘new’ two turn stagger, but let’s not forget that @sebcoe 1:44.91i WR set in 1983, was with a two turn stagger.
