How many thousands of people will be hit by this, this month and not realise their estimates are 2x - 3x what they should be??
If I hadn't called to query that today I would be out of pocket for 6 months before the next meter reading!
Now our only way to manage this is a manual standing order from our end with my own estimate - how many more people will fall behind on their charges because they have to manually make payments?
@thameswater refused to recalculate the "payment plan" said I should do it myself!

Hey @Monevator 👋 Vanguard doesn’t accept direct debits for SIPP. Is it unwise to choose LifeStrategy but through AJ Bell instead as they accept DD. Would there be extra costs? Better to choose an AJB fund? I want an easy life with monthly DD to a simple fund. 🙌🙌
So @StarlingBank wont accept a @monzo Bank Statement as proof of address because, to quote their support: "Anyone can just change a Monzo address willy-nilly so we don't accept them as proof."
