The economic mismanagement of India over the last decade has been so miserable that ppl can no longer afford a diagnosis of ADHD. It is now AD360p with Ads. 🤦
The bystander’s cringe is less a measure of intimacy than of the participants’ incomplete metabolization of vulnerability. Mature closeness ceases to solicit confirmation through exposure.

Social media users FALSELY claim that Neha Bora arrived at Delhi’s Mandir Marg police station on October 24 in a Toyota Camry belonging to her.
We obtained the car's registration certificate. It belongs to her lawyer, Abhik Chimni. @onkeyta_

Difficult choice btw SBI, Canara, IOB, & Indian Bank. Nationalised banks r the worst in customer service. Even their net/mobile banking is from the age of dinosaurs, compared to private banks. Abuses, assaults, humiliation of customers....

This lowlife needs to be arrested. The Malayali Muslim is among the most patriotic, polite, graceful Indians. Like other Indian Muslims. There is no heaven like Kerala on Earth.
Autos won't fleece you, people won't judge you, there is complete communal harmony btw Muslims, Christians & Hindus. You won't find beggars on the street, even if u give a police officer a bribe, he will return it to u, traffic police won't stop ur vehicle & own you, clerks work diligently in Govt offices, Drs & nurses turn up on time at PHCs on remote unsupervised, unreachable hill tops, You get the very best health care in every remote corner, it is also a tourist heaven.
In poverty or in extreme wealth, the avg Malayali will carry himself with impeccable grace & dignity, the greenery & cleanliness in every village, hamlet, & town is to be seen to be believed.
There is near zero crimes against women, the greenery will floor you, people are incredibly polite,& socially conscious, there is no hero worship in Kerala, it's vastly different from every single other state in India. If there is heaven on Earth, it simply has to be Kerala, Kerala, Kerala.
Vlogger ‘discovers’ Muslims and beef in Fort Kochi, makes communal remarks, gets booked

Dear PM Saar. Please congratulate this great Indian scientist, saar. Personal rancour shdnt come in the middle of felicitating a physicist, awarded for his contributions to string theory, S-duality, blackhole entropy,& string field theory. Past recipients include Stephen Hawking.
I've been listening to people talk about sex for a long time, and one thing still catches me off guard. A lot of them have had sex hundreds of times and can't remember being fully there for any of it.
Their heads were full. Am I doing this right? Is he/she enjoying it? Does he/she still find me attractive? Some were already braced for the "no" they expected to hear. Others stayed quiet about what they wanted because refusing, or asking, always seemed to cost something. Masters and Johnson called this "spectatoring," watching urself from the corner of the room. The body shows up,& the person quietly leaves.
When couples come to me, they usually blame technique, or dwindling desire, or the sense that they're just not compatible. Can be real. But more often I find 2 people who never felt safe enough to put the act down for a minute.
You can be naked beside someone and still be hiding. U can climax and feel nothing close to connection. You can love your partner deeply and still keep back the exact things that would let them know u.
Something else I've noticed: desire tends to fade when people stop being seen, not when they stop being attracted. And people who can't say no without bracing for fallout often can't fully say yes either. Honest refusal and honest wanting come from the same place.
So I don't think good sex comes down to what two bodies do. It depends on whether two people can stop managing each other long enough to actually show up. Most of you never get taught that part. We learn positions and technique, but nobody mentions staying put when being open makes you want to bolt.
If you can learn that, it won't just change your sex life, but also change what closeness/sexual intimacy really means.
When did beating up doctors become a form of justice in Indian cinema? Watched the trailer of Sunny Deol’s upcoming film. He plays a man who suffers a medical mishap and then turns violent against hospital staff.
Only a trailer, I hear you. But the violence against Drs in it appears to be presented as justified, even satisfying. And that is what bothers me. I have been beaten black & blue by pts & attenders several times in life.
We already work under tremendous pressure. Attacks on healthcare workers keep making headlines. Against that backdrop, portraying a 'hero' assaulting hospital staff as a man delivering justice is deeply troubling to me. I see myself in that Dr being beaten.
Indian cinema hasn’t exactly been kind to doctors otherwise- We’re either comic relief or villains in these. Ask Ramana- Tamil film. You simply can't keep a dead body in the ICU & pretend to resuscitate, man! The body decomposes & spreads disease and a blood-curling smell that makes u vomit. But, as Rahul Dravid once quoted-" Y let truth come in the way of a nice story?"
Of course, there are bad doctors. They must be held accountable. Patients have legitimate grievances,& our healthcare system has serious failures that need fixing. But does that justify painting an entire profession with the same brush? There r bad engineers, bureaucrats , architects & police officers too. All of us come from the same society. Does that justify painting an entire profession, wicked?
I’m particularly tired of the casual assumption that medical tests are unnecessary. We order tests because we cannot see inside the human body. Unnecessary testing deserves criticism, certainly. But so does dismissing tests without understanding why they were advised. A missed diagnosis can cost far more than a scan or a blood test.
I don’t expect cinema to glorify doctors. Nor should it be expected to hide the failures of healthcare. But there is a difference between exposing wrongdoing and making violence look like justice. Arrogant, rich doctor Vs Poor innocent Patient angle makes a surefire hit in Cinema & fiction. NOT REALITY.
Weaponising Cinema against innocent Drs will fill ur coffers, a certain box-office hit. But, it is certain to multiply serious assaults on my doctor community.
- By a doctor, beaten, bruised, humiliated, but still standing on the ring. It is sheer will power, that holds me up against a behemoth-The all-pervasive Villain Dr fake myth.
This is about a movie: "Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak" starring Sunny Deol. It has scenes depicting Drs in very bad light. It is movies like these which create an anti-dr climate, a universal public opinion that Indian Drs r evil. They directly contribute to brutal violence against Drs. I appeal to the @MoHFW_INDIA to pls intervene in the matter & take corrective steps.
Time and again, I hv raised this issue. Another unprovoked assault on a Lady Dr. Assaults on doctors- Govt or in the Pvt Sector is an epidemic in India. Doesn't even happen in Pakistan, B'desh ,Nepal or SL. The Govt of India must evolve a strategy to prevent attacks on Drs.
SHOCKING: Accused Slaps Lady Doctor Inside Police Presence
In Wardha Maharashtra, an accused named Qadir Ali slapped Dr. Shraddha Bhumre right inside a primary health center during medical examination.
Caught on CCTV this outrageous incident has sparked massive outrage among doctors, who are now demanding strict security and threatening to shut down OPD services
Got hold of this copy of the book by Professor. Happymon Jacob. @HappymonJacob , @MohanCRaja , @nitingokhale , @ajaishukla ,@Chellaney sir ,Nirupama Madam, Suhasini Haider, StanlyJohny & PravinSawhney sir are great Indian writers on Geopolitics. Among them Prof. Happymon is my all-time favorite. A fascinating read for students of IR like me. Highly recommended!
Surgery is not first-line. It is
used for:
🫴Non-functioning kidney
🫴Obstructing strictures
🫴Contracted bladder (thimble bladder-Frequency of urination!)- very common.
🫴Abscesses or fistula in selected cases
Early medical treatment can prevent irreversible organ damage.( 7/n)
Why does early diagnosis & Rx matter?
Delayed diagnosis->renal scarring, obstruction, chronic kidney disease, infertility ( tubal, epididymis, Vas Deferens), bladder contracture.
Cure rates are high (~90%) with early detection and full drug completion. ( 8/n )
Why is diagnosis delayed?
Symptoms are nonspecific and mimic ordinary UTIs, stones.
Many patients have no active pulmonary TB at presentation. High index of suspicion is needed, especially with:
History of TB
Endemic area
Unexplained infertility or strictures( narrowing)( 4/n)
Diagnosis requires proof of M. tuberculosis:
🫴Urine culture for AFB (gold standard, but slow)
🫴NAAT/PCR (e.g., GeneXpert)
🫴Imaging (CT/IVU): strictures, calyceal distortion, non-functioning kidney, calcification
🫴Histology when tissue is available( 5/n)
