Could TypeScript become more important because AI-generated code needs stronger validation layers? 🤖 Michael Dowden’s answer: “Absolutely.” Anything we do to make code more rigid is going to help. Stricter typing means more predictable patterns, cleaner architectures and better test coverage, which is exactly what you want when AI writes more of your code. ✅ Want more from Michael? “Angular isn’t suitable for public-facing websites.” 🤔 Manfred Steyer explains why that’s one of the most common misconceptions about Angular. In the early days, server-side rendering wasn’t really a strong story for the framework. Today, SSR and hydration work well out of the box, which makes Angular a solid choice for public-facing applications. Want more from Manfred? 🎙️ Engineering Agentic UI: Standards, Safety, and the Future of Angular AI-powered interfaces are moving beyond traditional chatbots. But how can developers build reliable, secure, and scalable Agentic User Interfaces? In this devmio podcast episode, Michael Dowden speaks with Angular expert @ManfredSteyer about integrating AI into large-scale enterprise applications — and the engineering practices needed to make agentic systems production-ready. The conversation explores: 🤖 Moving beyond chatbots to Agentic UI 🧩 Dynamic interfaces and AI-driven workflows ⚙️ Standards like AG-UI and A2UI 🔐 Safety, reliability, and human-in-the-loop patterns 🏗️ Building scalable AI-powered enterprise applications 🚀 The future of Angular in agentic development As AI becomes more deeply integrated into modern web applications, building intelligent interfaces requires more than powerful models — it requires thoughtful architecture, clear standards, and reliable engineering practices. 👉 Explore the podcast: devm.io/signals-podcast/?utm… #iJS #Angular #AgenticUI #AIAgents #JavaScript #FrontendDevelopment #WebDevelopment #AIEngineering #SoftwareArchitecture #devmio

♿ Accessibility by Design: Building Inclusive Applications from the Start Accessibility is not a one-time checklist. It should be part of every stage of software development. Too often, accessibility is considered only after an application has been built. But fixing barriers late in the process can be costly, time-consuming, and ineffective. In his article, Niklas Scheid explores why accessibility should be treated as a fundamental part of application design — whether you're building desktop applications with WPF or modern web interfaces. The article covers: ♿ Designing for permanent, temporary, and situational limitations 🎨 Building accessible and inclusive user interfaces ⌨️ Keyboard navigation and alternative interaction methods 🔍 Understanding users and their real-world environments 🧩 Integrating accessibility into UX design and development workflows ✅ Making accessibility part of quality assurance from the beginning The key takeaway? Accessible applications are not created by adding a few fixes at the end. They are built through thoughtful design and development decisions from day one. For frontend developers, UX designers, and software architects, this is a valuable read on creating more inclusive and reliable digital experiences. 👉 Read the full article: devm.io/ux/accessibility-wpf… #iJS #Accessibility #A11y #InclusiveDesign #WebDevelopment #FrontendDevelopment #UXDesign #WPF #SoftwareArchitecture #devmio

Your React app might be slow before it renders a single component. ⚡ With the React Compiler now handling routine memoization, sprinkling useMemo everywhere is no longer the answer. The bigger wins are usually elsewhere: oversized bundles, network waterfalls, and data-fetching architecture. In her new article, iJS speaker Sylwia Laskowska shares a practical React performance checklist for 2026: ✅ Measure first, then find the real bottleneck ✅ Check what happens before React (bundle size, heavy libraries, request chains) ✅ Ship less JavaScript with code splitting, lazy loading, and smart server/client boundaries ✅ Reduce work instead of making unnecessary work slightly faster ✅ Measure again, because “it feels faster” isn’t a metric The compiler won’t save an app that ships 8MB of JavaScript on startup. 👉 Read the full article: javascript-conference.com/bl… Want more? Meet Sylwia at iJS Munich, where she’ll talk about “Making React Apps Faster with WebGPU and WebAssembly.”  #React #JavaScript #WebPerformance #Frontend #iJS

🌐 WebMCP: Bridging the Gap Between AI Agents and the Web AI agents often struggle with traditional web interfaces because they rely on brittle DOM parsing, screenshots, and simulated user interactions. In this article, @gilfink explores how WebMCP introduces a browser-native way for web applications to expose structured tools directly to AI agents. Instead of forcing agents to guess how to interact with an interface, WebMCP allows applications to define what agents can do, which data they need, and how those actions should be executed. The article covers: 🤖 why UI scraping is unreliable 🧩 how WebMCP connects agents and web apps 🔐 structured, browser-native agent interfaces ⚙️ declarative and imperative implementation patterns 🚀 what this means for modern frontend architecture A valuable read for developers and architects thinking about the future of AI-native web applications. 👉 Read the article: devm.io/javascript/webmcp-br… #iJS #JavaScript #WebMCP #AIAgents #FrontendDevelopment #WebDevelopment #AgenticWeb #AIEngineering #SoftwareArchitecture

📸 From film cameras to digital photography. From writing code to engineering with AI. When photography shifted from film to digital, the tools changed dramatically. But the photographer’s eye, creativity, and ability to capture the right moment still mattered. The same transformation is happening in front-end development. 💻 🤖 As AI takes over more coding tasks, the value of a developer isn't disappearing it's shifting. Just as digital cameras changed how photographers work, AI is changing how developers build. The real skill is no longer just about writing code. It's about making the right decisions, understanding architecture, and knowing what to build and why. 🎥 In our latest session recording, Devin Chasanoff explores the front-end identity crisis in the age of AI and why less code doesn't mean fewer decisions. 👉 Watch the session: javascript-conference.com/bl… #JavaScriptConference #FrontendDevelopment #AI #SoftwareEngineering #WebDevelopment #AIEngineering
