Brilliant by @MarinaHyde From over here in Oz I never have understood the Brits hatred of Meghan.
I’ve written about the mega-weirdness of a Mail journalist making Meghan’s dad her “father figure”, and the mega-predictability of police incompetence where grim matters connected to the royal family are concerned

Netanyahu has gone silent in Israel and he may well be packing his bags.
He got about 50 seats in the election, he needed 61.
Even worse his rivals got 52-53 but the other 17-18 seats will all be won by Arab candidates who hate him.
So it looks like he will 'Flavio Bolsonaro'.

How misguided are government spending priorities when women’s refuges are consistently forced to turn away people in genuine need? Where is the media outrage over this disgraceful lack of funding? And is that lack of attention why politicians are similarly apathetic?

Much has been made about how the local media landscape has reached a critical low point. But often what readers don’t see is the fight WA journalists undertake on behalf of the public to get you even basic information.

They should have immediately arrested Bolsonaro & seized his passports. Now he’s legged it to Florida & Trump’s loving arms.

TATE EXTRADITION: WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Andrew and Tristan Tate now have dates for their final US extradition hearings.
Andrew’s will take place on 19 November. Tristan’s will follow on 20 November.
The court rejected their request for the two cases to be heard together. The Tates argued that there was substantial overlap in the evidence and issues. The US Government opposed consolidation, pointing to the differences between the cases and the evidence against each brother. The judge agreed that they should be considered separately.
The brothers remain in federal custody in Miami. They have also filed habeas proceedings challenging their continued detention, after the court previously denied them bail in the extradition proceedings.
Those proceedings face a significant hurdle. In refusing bail, the judge found that they had failed to show that they were not a flight risk or danger to the community, or that the “special circumstances” required for release in extradition cases existed.
The case has also acquired a political dimension in Washington. Members of Congress have written to the US Attorney General and Secretary of State seeking answers about reported past attempts by the Trump administration to assist the Tates, and asking whether the US will honour the UK’s extradition requests.
That is relevant because, if the court certifies the Tates as extraditable, the ultimate decision whether to surrender them to the UK rests with the executive.
Next month's hearings will not determine whether Andrew or Tristan Tate is guilty of any offence. They will determine whether the legal requirements for extradition to face trial in England are satisfied.
There will no doubt be plenty of commentary, social media campaigning and attacks on the prosecution between now and then. But none of that changes what these hearings are about. Any attempt to present them as a trial of the allegations, or their outcome as a determination of guilt or innocence, is a distraction.
The Tates are entitled to due process and the presumption of innocence. But due process matters for the women who have accused them too. They have waited years for their allegations to be heard and tested in court. They are entitled to that opportunity.

🚨🇺🇸 BREAKING: The US Department of Justice has filed its Memorandum in Support of Andrew Tate’s extradition to the UK.
The DOJ argues that the UK’s submission establishes probable cause that Andrew Tate committed the 39 charged offenses being considered for extradition.
The DOJ also emphasizes that the allegations are not based solely on victims’ statements, citing substantial independent corroborating evidence, including communications, witness accounts, travel records, and banking records.
