For all you have done for the community and the team, thank you @DeForestBuckner 💙
Source just told me Nelson and CIG worked out a deal where he goes to Seattle for a title run then comes back to Indy in March via free agency.
Another all time great Colt and one of my favorite players ever. Hope he gets his Super Bowl.
Trade: Colts are sending three-time Pro-Bowl DT DeForest Buckner back to the 49ers, the team that made him a 2016 first-round pick before dealing him to Indianapolis in 2020, per me and @rapsheet. Now Buckner returns to San Francisco, fortifying the 49ers defensive line.
We’ll all get to fondly remember Quenton Nelson again in 10 years when he’s putting on a Gold Jacket. Thankful for all the years he’s given Colts fans. The only OL Highlight Machine.
Trading Nelson and keeping Taylor would actually be hilarious. Won’t engage with believing they actually want to make sure to keep him around.

Translation: we really need a first round pick. please
The Colts’ stance on a potential Jonathan Taylor trade, per, @RapSheet on NFL Network:
“The Colts view him as a big part of their franchise turnaround. Yes, anyone can be had via trade, but this one is gonna be pricey if it happens.”

Ade Ade!
Colts' DT Adetomiwa Adebawore (#95) is going to get a ridiculous bag this offseason. His pass rush pops off the tape every week
Nelson is a UFA in four months and will be demanding a market setting OG contract. As good as he is, there is a limit to what a team will pay for a 30 year old rental/contract head start at Guard.

Quenton Nelson is the best player I’ve ever covered and probably the best player to wear a Colts uniform since Peyton Manning.
All time great, easy Hall of Famer, and one of the best pure run blockers we’ve ever seen at the position
Mannnnn I don’t think I would’ve traded Nelson for that low but I guess they really didn’t want to pay a HOF guard during a rebuild.
Beginning the next push to finish Death Stranding. On chapter 8, getting really tired of backtracking so much. Kojima gonna Kojima but come on buddy.
The Colts look like they have a few fun young defensive players and a young, very good offensive line. Obviously they need to hit on a lot of players but this isn’t a barren cupboard for the next GM.
Feeling more optimistic this week than I have in a few years. Freedom.

I love my role in media as a film guy or analyst because I can just pick and choose what I get to talk about.
There’s nothing about the Colts’s QB position that matters to me right now so I’m just gonna rewatch Tomi and Walley instead lol
