Tokenized stocks are no longer some niche experiment happening in a corner.
From major exchanges to smaller onchain teams, more players are getting involved and building across the space.
We've tried to make sense of it all by mapping things out - who's issuing the stocks, where they're being traded, who's lending against them, and who's providing the rails.
Have a look and bookmark it so you've got a handy reference the next time you're researching tokenized stocks.

RWAF member @PreStocks has crossed 200,000 holders* on RWAF member @solana.
I've been wanting to connect with more independent researchers, analysts, and people who are genuinely curious about what's happening across PreStocks, Solana, and the broader intersection of private markets, crypto, and emerging technology.
There's a lot happening in these spaces, and I think some of the most interesting ideas and people are the ones that haven't necessarily gotten much attention yet.
I'm interested in connecting with people who like to dig deeper, question things, form their own theses, and explore ideas that others might overlook. People who care more about the substance of an idea than who's behind it or how many people are paying attention.
You don't need a big following, an impressive title, or an institutional background to have something valuable to contribute.
If you're researching companies, analyzing markets, building in these ecosystems, or exploring something you think deserves more attention, I'd like to hear what you're working on.
I'm always interested in seeing how other people think, what they're discovering, and what we might be able to learn from one another.
If any of this resonates with you, feel free to reach out. I'd be glad to connect.

The life of a stock.
Paper certificates. Shouting in the pit. Screens and brokers. Still closed at 4pm and every weekend.
Now stocks are going onchain: 24/7, fractional, global.
$4.34B tokenized, up 9.7x in a year.
Be more bullish.

THEY TOOK $650K FOR A TOKEN YOU COULD NEVER SELL. NOW THEY’RE PRESTOCKS
prePO raised that money on arbitrum in 2022 and 2023, and to me what happened next is a slow rug. the team rebranded into @PreStocks and now sells tokenized OpenAI.
the old prePO app, where you could check your PPO balance, is a 404 and so is their github org. @prepo_io is locked, and the medium post with the public sale results has been deleted. so tonight i went through everything that’s still online, before more of it disappears.
the presale was september 20, 2022. 193 wallets put in $390,244 at $0.06 and it sold out in 17 minutes 50 seconds. the public sale ran after that at $0.069 to $0.20 and took another $250k. seed investors had paid $0.013, so retail paid between 4.6x and 15x the seed price, and both public rounds together bought about 1% of the supply while the team kept 25%.
from day one PPO was non-transferable. the FAQ, which is somehow still up, sold this as a feature: holders would vote to unlock transfers, estimate H2 2023, even though the same page admitted voting wasn’t possible yet. one of their own conditions for unlocking was “the return of a crypto bull market”. btc went past $100k and PPO is still sitting in the same wallets it was bought into.
while the token was frozen they kept selling it. in january 2023 they opened PPO bonds on bond protocol at $0.05 and called it 50% off a $0.10 “market” price, for a token that had no market at all. by january 23, 70 wallets had bonded $8,458, and one of them posted their dashboard that night: 2,002 PPO, market value $0.
march 2023 brought early deposits for their $ARB pre-token market. your ETH went in as wstETH with 2% taken on the way in and 3% on the way out, and the “rebates” were paid in PPO. people who deposited in march paid that 2% out of their ETH before the fees were scrapped in june.
in may 2023 they ran a “transferability survey” and paid for the answers in more PPO. in october they sunset v1 and promised a v2, and the medium blog ends there.
august 2025, prePO comes back as PreStocks on solana. their launch post lists “freely transferable” as a selling point and doesn’t mention PPO once. i looked for any migration or statement about PPO holders and found nothing.
today 1,225 wallets still hold PPO on arbiscan at $0, and no exchange lists it. PreStocks advertises 100K+ holders and $1.75B in volume. it’s the same company with the same founder, it just changed chains and left the first holders behind.
@RWAFoundation_ lists @PreStocks among its 18 member teams, next to securitize and maple. before you put your name next to a team, you might want to ask what happened to the last people who trusted it.
@XavierEkkel, you raised that $650k. what’s the plan for PPO holders? if there isn’t one, say so. and put the deleted post back up so people can see what they were sold.

Now with @PreStocks gaining momentum it's important that when TGE happens on Solana, the $PPO token holders from Arbitrum who believed in the vision 4 years ago will be the biggest winners. My mission is to make sure that this will be the case.
If you’re running the socials for an RWA company and need any tips, text me. 😉
Tokenization is only just getting started.
In the last 4 weeks we have posted over 1,300 times, gained 9,500 new followers & had over 6.6 million impressions.

Jeff drank a bit too much of his own Kool-Aid in this recent Odd Lots clip. I think it's important to clear up a distinction that makes all the difference.
Democratizing access to wealth creation is NOT the same as democratizing access to speculation.
Many of us genuinely want broader participation in attractive investment opportunities. The growing wealth inequality produced by the current system is tearing at the seams of society, something I've spoken about many times.
But let's be clear: listing pre-IPO perpetual futures does absolutely nothing to democratize the wealth being created in private markets.
I've seen this misleading narrative pushed repeatedly by perp DEXs lately, and it needs to be called out.
A pre-IPO perp creates ZERO underlying wealth. It's a zero-sum contract before costs, and negative-sum after them. No capital flows to the company. No ownership changes hands. No new economic opportunity is created.
Every long has a short. There is no free lunch in simply going long something before its IPO, and funding costs can even determine the outcome more than any price moves. TRADING access is NOT INVESTING access.
In fact, in many ways pre-IPO perps are almost the antithesis of democratized access:
They create the illusion of participation in private-market wealth creation, while actually offering retail a speculative instrument whose mechanics they are often poorly equipped to understand.
The result is a playground for the FEW sophisticated traders who understand funding, oracle design, and liquidation mechanics to extract value from the MANY who don't.
To give credit where it's due, Robinhood's efforts toward sourcing actual employee shares, placing them into SPVs, and tokenizing genuine spot ownership are much closer to meaningful democratization.
That can unlock real economic value by allowing employees to exchange some of their expected upside for liquidity, while giving new investors actual economic exposure. A legitimate financial trade-off, without the funding-rate and liquidation shenanigans.
I'm strongly aligned with expanding access to investment opportunities. And I believe advances in AI and blockchain can dramatically lower the barriers to discovering, structuring, and distributing them.
But let's not BS ourselves that launching another zero-sum casino contract is moving the needle on wealth inequality.
What would actually move the needle is bringing real capital formation and ownership onchain. Giving investors access to productive, illiquid assets like data centers, GPUs, and select startup investing, where capital can actually finance growth and share in the resulting value creation.
These opportunities are harder to structure, underwrite, and bring to market, and we haven't seen many compelling implementations onchain yet.
Hopefully this will change soon and, as the industry matures, we can direct more of our energy toward actually expanding access to wealth creation.
Clip below. Was glad to see @tracyalloway push back on this framing, and to Jeff's credit, after this he does seem to walk back his original position somewhat.
Jeff Yan: Wealth Is Often Created Before a Company Goes Public
On October 15, 2026, Hyperliquid founder Jeff Yan @chameleon_jeff told Bloomberg's Odd Lots podcast @podcasts that when a company goes public at a valuation of several trillion dollars, most of the wealth has often already been created before its IPO.
Access to those investment opportunities is limited to a small group, reflecting the limitations of the existing financial system. He argued that barriers to participation should be lowered to give more people equal access to financial opportunities, alongside stronger financial education to help investors assess whether those opportunities suit their risk tolerance.

prePO has $3.2M in VC funding on DefiLlama, with token sales on top. PPO was never listed or priced anywhere we track. PreStocks is tracked, but as a separate Solana protocol.
Funding:
- $1.1M seed (Jul 2021) and $2.1M strategic round (23 Mar 2022), led by Republic Capital and IOSG
- Sept 2022 presale: $390,244 for 6,504,061 $PPO at $0.06 ($60M FDV), sold out in under 18 min
- IQ.wiki lists a Mar 2023 public sale that raised $250K. It's a secondary source and I didn't verify it
PPO:
- Non-transferable and non-tradable from the start, with no exchange markets found
- A screenshot shows a PPO auction page with a Sell tab, and a third-party page says weekly auctions began 28 Dec 2023. That suggests a limited auction-only exit. I haven't verified volumes or prices
- Nothing I found says what happens to PPO holders after the rebrand
Rebrand: PreStocks' 7 Aug 2025 launch post says "PreStocks (formerly prePO) has moved to Solana". It offers tokenized pre-IPO exposure to SpaceX, OpenAI and Anthropic.
Tracking:
- prePO: derivatives protocol on Arbitrum, Blast and Base, TVL $12,349, no token linked
- PreStocks (defillama.com/protocol/prest…): RWA category, TVL $0, all-time fees $265,395 (Meteora DLMM LP fees only)
- 7 PreStocks tokens tracked, $43.5M combined onchain market cap as of 18 Oct 2026. SpaceX is $26.3M, Anthropic $7.5M, OpenAI $5.6M
I couldn't verify the thread's wallet count, price range, or deleted-accounts claims, so I'd treat those as unconfirmed.

The next RWA gold rush might not be tokenized stocks anymore.
I think the much bigger opportunity might be in private companies, where access is restricted, liquidity barely exists, and price discovery is still broken.
Because buying tokenized NVDA or TSLA doesn't fundamentally give ppl access to a market that didn't exist before.
Those stocks already have deep liquidity, market makers, continuous price discovery and billions in daily volume on traditional exchanges.
Putting them onchain improves distribution, settlement, accessibility and DeFi composability, but the underlying financial market was already working.
Private companies are a completely different problem.
81% of US companies generating over $100M in annual revenue are privately held, down from 87% in Apollo's older 2024 study.
That's by company count, not market value, but still a pretty insane amount of economic activity sitting outside public equity markets.
And many of the companies investors want exposure to most are exactly the ones they can't easily buy. AI, robotics, defense, space, biotech, cybersecurity…
Broad private-market secondary transactions already hit a record $226B in 2025, up 41% YoY.
Now look at what @Ondo is actually building.
Its Private Markets product starts with exposure to an unnamed pre-IPO AI company, with plans to expand across robotics, defense, space, cybersecurity, energy and other sectors.
Ppl aren't buying the underlying shares directly. They're buying a tokenized note whose payout is tied to the value of the private company's common stock at a qualifying liquidity event.
1 note references the liquidity-event value of 1 common share, minus applicable fees and withholding.
The token can trade 24/7 among eligible investors, while the underlying company might go months without a meaningful observable transaction.
Ondo is trying to create a tradable, transferable financial instrument around economic exposure that was previously difficult to access or trade.
Imagine a private AI company valued at $50B in its last funding round.
Its tokenized exposure could start trading at an implied $80B valuation because CT gets euphoric, despite nothing fundamentally changing in the company's business.
Ondo also plans to support Private Market Notes as collateral on Ondo Perps.
Now we're talking about private company exposure becoming usable collateral, with derivatives and liquidations built around an asset that might not have a reliable real-time fundamental price.
Pretty fascinating, but also where things can get messy.
Stale valuations, thin orderbooks, wide spreads and forced liquidations could create volatility completely disconnected from the underlying private company.
So there's a lot of infrastructure that still needs to be built around this, and some projects are already catching on:
@Securitize: leads tokenized PE/VC with ~$1.2B across 11 assets, recently brought ARK's $1.3B venture fund with OpenAI/SpaceX exposure onchain. But it's still fund ownership with quarterly redemption gates, not liquid private shares.
@KAIO_xyz: ~$141M in tokenized fund assets across BlackRock, Mubadala, Hamilton Lane and others, including ~$65M in private equity.
@CtrlAltCo: ~$705M in tokenized PE across 2 Solana litigation-finance vehicles. More onchain asset registry than actual liquid private market.
@ColbFinance: ~$97M in tokenized pre-IPO exposure to SpaceX, Anthropic and Revolut, up ~46% in 30d. Big demand for access, but secondary liquidity is still barely there.
@PreStocks: ~$44.5M AUM across 7 pre-IPO names, with $545M+ cumulative volume, turning SPV-backed private equity exposure into 24/7 tradable Solana tokens.
@joinrepublic: ~$150M in tokenized private-market exposure across 4 assets, mostly SpaceX-linked notes on Solana, giving retail access to pre-IPO names through tokenized debt claims.
@JarsyInc: retail pre-IPO exposure with $10 minimums, 1:1 SPV-backed tokens for names like SpaceX, Anthropic and Anduril. Raised $5M but still tiny scale.
I'm also starting to think differently about the next wave of RWAs.
The first wave largely focused on bringing assets that already had efficient markets onto better financial rails.
The next wave could be about building financial markets for assets that never had efficient ones in the first place.
Let's see if this is going to be removed or not, below is a screenshot to stay in the X feed, @Lihong062 you're close to @XavierEkkel if you can pass the word and advice him to be fair with $ppo +1000 investors... we all going to root for his success...
you should watch for your reputation in the space my dear friend, you're endorsing a scammer, we don't have the same experience with @XavierEkkel that's for sure
xitter.gq/d3v_6uy/status/2106871…
If you can pass the word to him to fix his 4y back mistake and reimburse the 1000 investors who bought his native token $ppo that would be amazing, by not doing so he's putting in jeopardy anything he's going to build, a debt in a blockchain is a debt for life
I'm setting up a group chat for fellow @PreStocks investors in coming days. Also, personally I'm not interested in being only reimbursed. The project has finally found PMF and the presale and seed round investors that funded it in 2021-2022 should make a great ROI.
a debt on a blockchain is a debt for life: @PreStocks has scammed early investors in 2022, before rebranding to prestocks they raised funds by selling their native $ppo token that never made tradable, +1000 investors still locked, all critics have been silenced by @XavierEkkel
