Unpopular opinion: Networking is overrated if you're not using it to learn. Stop collecting contacts and start building meaningful relationships instead.

Dear Marketer, Don’t give up if you fail. Marketing is about experimentation and not everything you try will work the first time.

The era of like & subscribe is dead. Winning today means building authentic relationships--with smaller segments of your audience i.e. your 1000 true fans.

🧵My Journey from Zero to Monetization on X! I had ZERO real growth on X since it was Twitter in 2009. Starting January 2024 was my "I’ll tweet every day" year, and sadly, my follower count & views were bad… So, I spent 40 days digging deep into the top, fast-growing X accounts to discover what works. I started a new plan 30 days ago...it's working!! Part 1 of 6 🧵

I'm not the biggest fan of "hacks" but if there was one content marketing / credibility-building / PR-worthy thing I would recommend, it would be to produce and publish your own research. Some of y'all are sitting on piles and piles of data that could be used as content.

The 'free' market isn’t actually free under increased regulation! Regulations crush competition and hinder small businesses. Freedom means minimal government interference!

Unionization is NOT the answer for small business success! While workers deserve rights, unions often prioritize power over productivity, harming the very businesses they claim to support!

Stop romanticizing the “entrepreneur lifestyle.” It’s messy, exhausting, and not nearly as glamorous as it seems. Real entrepreneurs grind it out when no one is watching.

Passion without discipline is just a flashy hobby. If you can’t stick to a plan, then your dreams are nothing but smoke and mirrors.
