After a seasonable afternoon, a nice warmup will take us through tomorrow and especially Friday. This weekend won't be as warm, but still quite nice for Halloween and the TCS NYC Marathon. Any chance of rain waits until early next week, and even then it's trending drier.
Expect some sun through high clouds this afternoon with seasonable temperatures. Tonight will be partly cloudy with some areas of fog developing, mainly north and west of the city (closer to 40 in some suburbs). Tomorrow will be warmer and pleasant with sun and a few clouds.
Still the chance of some brief, minor tidal flooding along coastal Fairfield County with this afternoon's high tide cycle.
A cooler couple of days will be followed by another warmup that'll take us into the 70s on Friday before a weekend cooldown (still above average). The dry stretch takes us through Halloween and the TCS NYC Marathon before some rain possibly returns late Sunday night or Monday.
This afternoon will be cooler despite plenty of sunshine, leading into a clear to partly cloudy night with some 30s in outer suburbs.
Brief minor tidal flooding possible early this afternoon along coastal Fairfield County as we come off of yesterday's full moon.
Sunset was just prior to 6pm today in New York City, but check out what happens after we "fall back" an hour on Sunday.
A cooler couple of days will be followed by another warmup that'll send us into the 70s later this week. Temperatures trend cooler (still above average) this weekend, and any chance of rain should wait until Sunday night and/or Monday, leaving Halloween and the NYC Marathon dry.
Updated fall foliage map on this beautiful day with peak color not too far north and west of the city.
A brief cooldown Tuesday and Wednesday will get our numbers back to seasonable levels before another warmup to end the week with highs well into the 70s on Friday. Halloween looks a little cooler but still nice before clouds increase next Sunday ahead of a rain chance at night.
After another clear night, tomorrow will be warm and quite nice with sunshine and some afternoon clouds (thicker clouds north of the city).
Warmup takes us through Monday before a midweek cooldown followed by another warmup. Dry stretch should continue through at least Halloween.
Tonight will be moonlit and chilly with upper 20s again in some of the outlying suburbs. Tomorrow will be nice and sunny with a warmer midday and afternoon.
