Here's a hard truth nobody seems to be talking about. Once he's gone, the Joint Chiefs need to be investigated. Our military has failed us. They've followed illegal orders and abdicated their authority and responsibility to their citizens. They've willingly served the mad king. We cannot allow our military to be run by leaders like that.

You mean like what books you can read, what sort of birth control is legal, whether you can join a union, how it's OK to send kids to war without congressional approval. Andy you need to wake the fuck up. All Republicans want to do is tell us how to live
Conservatives want to be left alone. Democrats want to tell you how to live, what to drive, and what your kids learn. That's the whole difference....

Thank you, Mitt.
Churchill could have shortened WW2 by years if he had just “done a deal” with Hitler. George Washington could have done a deal to end the American Revolution. Zelenskyy is in good company.

We have a brain-addled Executive, an absent Legislative, a genuflecting Judicial. Is this American tree still standing?
Trump: I've taken so many physicals and I get the best marks. I've taken numerous physicals. I'm the only one that ever took a cognitive test. The first question is easy. You have a lion, a snake, a bear, and a giraffe. Which is the giraffe?

Playing the greatest hits, aren't they. Caravans, trans people, communists. Nothing about the cost of living, the war, the obvious and severe dementia of the President, the turn away from our allies and toward our enemies. Just base fear to stoke that lizard brain.

I'll give Trump credit for one thing. He held up a mirror to America and exposed just how many people choose hatred and bigotry over humanity, cruelty over compassion, and selfishness over decency. The worst part? They saw their reflection and loved it.

Too cowardly to call out Donald Trump.
The term “Shylock” is rooted in a longstanding antisemitic stereotype. Regardless of intent, its use can reinforce harmful tropes about Jews and normalize language that has long been used to target the Jewish community.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Trump used “Shylock” at a Kansas rally Oct. 19 defending Sen. Marshall. ADL’s post omits naming him, unlike its 2025 statement. forbes.com/sites/siladity… x.com/Acyn/status/21… x.com/ADL/status/194…

Ancient Romans knew that the secret to avoiding political unrest is “panem et circenses”, which translates to “make their bread more expensive but also shittier every year, and then flood all their entertainment with cheap slop, haha it’s fine, what’s the worst that can happen”

What a pathetic swan song for the American Century.
This is like a textbook definition of a collapsing narcissist. —“Nobody appreciates me” (blame) —“It’s very sad.” (victimhood) —“Oh wait. I’m in the Oval Office. I’m the President.” (restorative superiority/grandiose delusions) There’s nothing left but symptoms of this man’s brain shutting down. “I don't even talk about myself, what they did with me. But now I look up and I say, oh, gee, I'm in the Oval Office. I say, sometimes I'll say, nobody appreciates what I've done. I've created the greatest. You know, we have $22 trillion coming in. No, I do it. You know, we just we just did favorite nations in medicine, like as an example and all these things. And I did so much. And it's so much. And, you know, we're in the golden age of America. We were the dark ages. But I say, oftentimes, nobody appreciates what I did. And I feel very sad. No, no, no. I took drug prices from the highest price in history to the lowest. And the press doesn't write. No, that's OK. Don't worry. You're killing my final line here. That's OK. I never will turn down applause. But now I say to myself, sadly, as I sit in the most magnificent office in the world, the most powerful 3,000 feet, 3,000 square feet, most powerful by hundreds and hundreds of times, I'd say nobody appreciates how great a president I am. I say it. I say nobody appreciates that I got $21 trillion invested on our country. And the highest ever was a different country 10 years ago called China. Three trillion. And I'm 21. It's actually now 22. A little more time went by. I said nobody appreciates that I rebuilt our military, that I started Space Force, that I did all these things. Nobody appreciates that we have the best job numbers in history. Nobody appreciates that nobody ever. Nobody comes through our border anymore. It's lonely. And hundreds and hundreds of other things. And you know, I said promises made, promises kept. And a very nice anchor last week who was inclined toward the liberal said, you know, whether you like Trump or not, he said, promises made, promises kept, and he kept more promises that he said he was going to make. He said that's the only time that's ever happened in politics. But I said to a group of brilliant people sitting in the Oval Office with me, nobody appreciates what I did. It is very sad. It's very sad. And then I look up and I say, oh, wait, oh, wait. Is this the Oval Office that we're in? Yes. Oh, I'm in the Oval Office. That means I'm president. I guess they do appreciate what we've done. Right. Right. I guess I guess I guess now I guess. What the hell? I'm president. What can I complain? I guess they do appreciate you appreciate. I tell you, Kansas appreciates it. Texas appreciates it. Texas appreciates it. Alaska appreciates it.”

The two faces of the US in the world today are this cut-rate, conman Antichrist, and the literal Pope. Which way, America? Which way.

This is the question I struggle with. I have believed deeply, completely for all of my life that our system of checks and balances made us immune to this. It feels a bit now like waking up from a hallucination, unmoored. I don't know what else to do than hope right now.
I've decided to refrain saying anything bad about all Americans until the results of the midterms come in but I have a question for Americans. What will you do if Trump, Musk and their gang of c'nts try to steal them?

People often ask me what plans must be followed before any nation puts “boots on the ground.” Here it is: 1. Clear, realistic goals. 2. An established timeline. 3. Vigilance against mission creep. 4. A nation-building plan. 5. A clear exit strategy.

Alex Gibney: “There was an estimate that what [Elon Musk] did by suddenly cutting USAID would cost through disease and starvation as many as 14M lives. Even if you discount that, we know within a year of those cuts where they were literally burning food going to starving children, 500K children died. This is really a crime against humanity, but he makes a joke about it, I put USAID into the woodchipper. What he put into the woodchipper were children”

Vance is confronted by the emotional husband of a soldier killed in Iran War and acts like he had no idea anyone ever died: Q: It's a hard price to pay. There's a failure in the leadership. How will the leadership be held accountable? Vance: If there were failures... This is the first time I've heard of this.
