For kids who love epic fantasies with a dash of spookiness, magical horses, and lots of adventure may I humbly suggest The Last Windwitch or Lark and the Wild Hunt? :D Best for confident readers in 3rd or 4th grade. And I'm available virtually to answer book club questions!

Oh NO. I am so, so sorry. That's inexcusable.

The messiest, anyway!

I've had a busy couple of weeks signing copies of LARK AND THE WILD HUNT, doing virtual talks, and sorting out some medical stuff (which is "complicated but likely nothing to worry about yet"). Now it's time to write a new book! ...or try to, anyway. #secretprojects

I'd totally send you a magic pill coated in chocolate if I could! Hope you feel up to storming the castle as soon as possible!

When life gets stressful, I go to the barn. (And I am endlessly, immensely, inexpressibly grateful for that privilege - and for my Best Little Mare In the World.) ((photo credit: Nancy Harrison))

I read it yesterday through a blur of tears while also grinning like a loon and it was wonderful.
