The shooting of @charliekirk11 is not just an attack on one man, it’s an attack on free speech and democracy. Political violence is cowardice, and it must be confronted with zero tolerance. America deserves better.

I am heartbroken to hear about the tragic shootings of Senator John Hoffman, his wife, and the senseless murder of DFL Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman her husband Mark.  My thoughts and prayers are with them, their families, and their loved ones during this unimaginably difficult time. This act of violence against dedicated public servants and their families is a devastating blow to our community and our state.  I am committed to fostering unity, safety, and healing in the wake of such tragedies. I know that law enforcement is working diligently to bring the perpetrator to justice, and I stand with local authorities as they mobilize resources to support the investigation and ensure the safety of our neighborhoods. We must come together as Minnesotans to condemn violence, support those affected, and work toward a future where our communities are safe for all. I will continue to monitor this situation closely and offer my full support to the Hoffman and Hortman families and the people of Minnesota. With hope and resolve, Dalia Candidate for MN CD5
