I got friends who play in circuito tormenta esp regularly in their vrc tournaments and i'm glad they are really getting good opportunities in the region whether its playing cash prize tournaments and LANs or just constant vlr coverage from these tournaments. but it shows how other regionals such as UK has the most teams competing in tournaments and NORTH EU players of high caliber rarely get the chance to play, lack of coverage and less of an opportunity to shine. VUKC has a monthly/2month tournament with bo1s until finals that doesn't represent the skill in it as its always the same teams/players dominating as you typically see on Liquidpedia and VLR but don't see teams who deserve that coverage just because there are a small portion of low skilled teams that are just steamrolled, insta elimed. The Septober Cup was different and really showed how a group of genuine passionate players can make it in the top 6. But not even top6 is covered on vlr with a bs claim of its not of high quality. For a 17 year old British player who has the passion myself to play and improve and get chances, it feels like I need to shift to an entirely different regional league with regular tournaments to even get the opportunity to play. Or play a tournament with an entry fee which has some t1/t2 players that hop in it. Or when I play a notable tournament and have good games against good teams its not even covered on vlr. It is what it is but its frustrating for players like me that want to build up their vlr page to showcase the "semi pro" experience I have. Maybe its cope but the VUKC needs to up its game compared to Circuito Tormenta esp to provide for its players but at least this new vct format is supposedly going to give t2/t3 players a chance to shine, unless they run into a team of ex t1 players. 😲🤯 Just also hoped @VLRdotgg would help the t3 uk region out and at least have good coverage of tournaments but they disappoint as usual. I know a lot of people can relate to me about horrible vlr coverage for riot supported regional tournaments 😔
