There are some great images in this compilation of Princess Anne with her beloved mother, Queen Elizabeth โค๏ธ
I particularly like the first image of them preparing to take a boat trip around the lake at Frogmore in 1959.

PTS Member, Gibraltar Philatelic Bureau is pleased to unveil a new stamp issue commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of the late Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
This special issue of six stamps, together with a ยฃ10 high-value stamp, pays a heartfelt tribute to the life and legacy of Britainโs longest reigning monarch. Each stamp reflects a defining moment or enduring quality from her remarkable journey.
The six stamps of the set follow the life of Her Majesty, with the 30p value featuring her as a baby, through to her coronation on the ยฃ1 value, and a public appearance in later years on the ยฃ4, featuring her trademark colourful wardrobe.
The accompanying higher value ยฃ10 stamp and accompanying sheetlet feature Queen Elizabeth on horseback during the Trooping the Colour ceremony in 1951, where she took the place of her father who was unable to attend due to ill health.
The artistic vision behind this collection was brought to life by local graphic artist, Mr. Stephen Perera, whom masterfully selected the di๏ฌerent photographs to illustrate and honour the dedication of Queen Elizabeth to not only her role but also her loyal subjects.
The Queen Elizabeth II: 100 Years collection is comprised of seven stamps, a miniature sheet and accompanying Sheets, First Day Covers and Presentation Packs.
For philatelists and royalists alike, the opportunity to pre-order this collection is available on gibraltar-stamps.com

Forgive a bit of sincereposting, but I have travelled a long way through rural England today and what an achingly beautiful country we have. Every field and hedgerow, and every stream and wood and hill.

Hasnโt an โEnglishmanโs faithโ always been rather quiet and reserved. Thatโs why the charismatic wing of the church is not mainstream despite its perceived successes. Strikes me that William is very much in that traditional vein. And great to hear.

What is perhaps most interesting about the Sunday Times story on Prince William's "quiet faith" is that it reflects the norm for British monarchs. The late Queen's piety (like that of Victoria) and the King's faith and theological literacy (like that of George III) were and 1/2

Instead of yet another boring story about celebrity Harry and his security,
the ๐ข๐ค๐ต๐ถ๐ข๐ญ story the media should be reporting is the fact that US resident Harry is ๐ข๐จ๐ข๐ช๐ฏ trying to manipulate the process,
this time using the media to lay the groundwork for his conspiracies

They fled the country, monetised their grievances, ignored safer options when it suited them, and now demand the red carpet rolled out on their terms
