I didn't notice this at first. But the anime art style so far seems to be more based on the manga art style over the light novel. Tsunako mentioned the prior manga creators.

Hopefully it can reach 1 million views by the end of the year. We have yet to enter the marketing phase yet so half a million now is a big accomplishment. They need to add more screenings since a lot of foreign interest will be there as well. But no pre sales yet for them.

They only had 60 theatres for ticket pre sales with many prefectures not having tickets. This movie should push past expectations. xitter.cf/date_a_info/status/211…

I have engage kiss bundled with my date a live blu-rays as part of my Tsunako work collection. I enjoyed it giving us something between Dal IV and V. Also the Kisara figure is very rare now. I wish I got more goods.

I am hoping more screenings happen. The Mayuri Judgement rerun had one showing which quickly sold out.

Come back when these character can sell 16 printings of novels. Get a kuro game collab. And have the best, most iconic lines in anime.

Crazy thing is over the last 2 years, there was next to no media released for Date A Live. Yet merchandise sales were so high, it outsold Lycoris Recoil which had 2 years ahead of it, and already pushed past Bocchi. Never seen another anime do that. #date_a_live #デアラF

Despite being a brand new series with no viewers and cancelled manga, King's Proposal is now the second most viewed upcoming anime at the Fantasia Bunko festival. Insane growth. 10k Likes in a day. #王様のプロポーズ #date_a_live #デアラF

With the second tsunako artbook ready to come, I am glad to have this out of print guidebook from the second season. A lot of inverse tohka on it.

Clickbait comment. There is not a single official statement on DAL's x accounts stating final installment. Trailer is dead obvious there is more to come.

Interesting to see Tachibana is very heavily involved in the production of King's Proposal. I wonder if we will see movies, blu ray bonus novels, more Tsunako artwork.

Expect a multi part movie. Likely a trilogy. Each movie covers just on volume. Animec shows up in DAL F trailer. Indicating this is a joint venture by Aniplex and Kadokawa to push more theatrical releases.

Volume 20 stands on its own. Volume 21-22 are like one Volume. So adapting it all will lead to severe pacing problems like you are watching 2 different episodes.
49
Majority of series split their final acts into multiple parts. Volume 20 itself is quite standalone from 21 and 22 and novel readers can confirm.

I think there will be more anime projects. Like rumored trilogy. Trailer only shows volume 20 with nothing from 21 and 22. Plus there was a big marketing campaign. Which shouldn't happen if they are rushing to finish.

no @grok they are not cramming 3 volumes in 90 minutes. There was nothing in the trailers for volume 21 and 22. It makes no financial sense why would they speedrun a series like DAL with very high merchandise and game sales.
