💡 The Address
Your blockchain address is your identity. Here is everything you need to know to send and receive money safely.
• It is safe to share.
• It allows you to receive crypto and NFTs.
• On dApps, this acts as your username
💡 The Memo
This is mostly required when sending to Centralized Exchanges.
Exchanges often use one universal address for incoming deposits. The Memo tells them which specific user account to credit.
💡 Gas Fees
To move money, you have to pay the network miners. Usually, you must pay this in the "Native Token" (e.g., needing SOL to move tokens on Solana).
🔴 The Problem: If you have USDT on Ethereum but no ETH for gas, your money is stuck.
💡 Safety Checklist when making transactions
1. Check the Chain and ensure the sender and receiver are on the same network.
2. Always copy addresses directly from the wallet, not your transaction history (to avoid phishing scams).
