Been watching Arsenal whilst my wife was watching Countryfile. She comes in and tells me this week it’s all about Forest Green Rovers FC. Let me think, the anti semitic BBC and the Anti semitic football club cosying up with each other. Hummmm why am I not surprised.
Let me rewrite that headline for you “John Healey is to announce a record breaking increase in the unemployment numbers in the budget”.
John Healey is to announce an inflation-busting increase in the minimum wage in the Budget.
The Chancellor is expected to increase the National Living Wage by just under 4pc on Wednesday, taking it above £13 an hour for the first time.

Protests? Really? This is why I don’t watch BBC news anymore. You simply don’t tell the truth.

We criticise individual players when we win and play well. Lord only knows what happens when we lose. May well not look at X tonight.
Last season QPR conceded a penalty for a foul that was nearer Stamford Bridge than the penalty area. Win some lose some. If you’re trying to defend and support VAR then forget it. We don’t want it in the championship.
Shocker of a decision. There will be calls for VAR in the Championship after that. West Ham’s Tomas Soucek puts in the perfect sliding challenge, stretching out his right foot to nudge the ball away from QPR’s Paul Smyth. Brilliant interception, played the ball, outside the box anyway, ridiculously punished with a penalty. West Ham been poor, but that was an even poorer decision. #WHUQPR
Anyone else beginning to realise that the world changed more after October 7 2023 than it did after 9/11? Everyone said the world changed on 9/11. I don’t think it did really. Maybe for a short time. October 7 is proving to be more of a change in the world.
This march should be banned totally. It’s clearly a hate march to celebrate the death of Jews and Israelis. But sadly the @metpoliceuk don’t have the balls to do that and more worryingly they probably support it anyway.
The Met has urged a group of students planning to march on Wednesday, 7 October – the anniversary of the terror attack on Israel – to hold their protest on a different day.

I’m surprised not to have seen more about the FA demanding a match to be replied because of a referee error. Surely this opens up a whole can of worms with a heck of a lot of games having to be replayed in the future? What’s the dividing line here?
At the end of the day/season we are not going up (thank goodness) and we are not going down (thank goodness). But I thought we gave a good account of ourselves in the second half and can hold our heads up that overall we played ok.
We win 2 away games on the trot. 2 out of 3 for the season. We are QPR, a fairly average Championship team. And yet some “fans” still criticise some players as if they are the worst in the world. Ever. Unbelievable quite frankly.
