Political violence is contagious. It is spreading. It is not confined to one side or belief system. It should terrify us all.
The foundation of a free society is the ability to participate in it without fear of violence. Political violence is always an attack against us all. You have to be so blind not to see that.

Had the pleasure of visiting the @LCPSOfficial Admin Building today to work with Ts from the gifted department on the benefits of integrating computer science tools into their lesson designs. Lots of great ideas came up while they practiced coding with the @iRobotEducation Root.

Enjoying a special, customized hot cocoa treat from Danielbucks at @SterlingElem. What a fun service leadership project created by @MrsDanielGifted and her FUSION students! #HappyFriday #LCPSgifted @LCPSOfficial
Thinking about resolutions differently this year…leaning into really thinking about the person I wish to become.
Not studying this more when looking at our history explains so much. Why can’t we learn from our past? My grandfather fought in the all-Japanese American 442nd, while our country imprisoned our people for looking like the enemy. 😔

Worth noting that the College of William and Mary give students Election Day off. Voting is institutionalized and young people are given an incentive to get out there and make their voices heard. More colleges should be doing this. It works and it is so important.
Proud to see students at my alma mater engaged in their civic duty! 🗳️
Such sad news. Her work helped so many teachers navigate teaching students from afar during the pandemic. My students loved her creative lessons! May her memory be a blessing to her loved ones.

Feeling so appreciated! Enjoyed a delicious hot breakfast and had a parent deliver my favorite salad from @brgrillva for lunch. Loved reading sweet notes left by students throughout the day. 🐝
