Today, Dow announced a planned leadership change effective July 1: I’ll move into the role of Executive Chair of the Board, and Karen S. Carter will become Chief Executive Officer of @DowNewsroom.
Congratulations to Karen—she has been central to this progress and is a terrific leader: disciplined, deeply grounded in our operations, and very clear on where Dow needs to go next. As Executive Chair, I’ll focus on long‑term strategy, governance, and key external relationships.
It’s been a privilege to lead Dow—thank you to Team Dow for the discipline, ambition, and results that continue to position the Company for long‑term value creation.

The 2025 @dowchampionship continues to be a powerful platform for driving innovation, bringing customers, suppliers, and partners together to create lasting impact for our community and stakeholders.
Congratulations to our champions Jin Hee Im and Somi Lee!
We don’t wait for the future—we build it. Now in our 21st year of voluntary sustainability reporting, @DowNewsroom’s INtersections edition demonstrates how we’re driving innovation, delivering results, and shaping healthier communities.
Great discussion at @CERAWeek with @DanielYergin, @ABDanielleSmith & Susan Bourgeois on the value of regional energy hubs. We're seeing rising need for affordable baseload energy & a push to decarbonize emissions. Energy hubs can power current needs & suit future demand.
Aways a pleasure, Patti & @Deteconomicclub. Dow agrees – advanced small modular nuclear represents a long-term viable source of reliable power AND an avenue to grow by delighting our customers with low-emissions products via our own decarbonization efforts.
Poppe: "Nuclear is an essential ingredient to the decarbonized economy." #econclub
To all who are celebrating, Happy Lunar New Year. May the Year of the Wood Snake bring you wisdom, transformation, prosperity, and joy.
It's been great to connect with leaders during #WEF25 who are equally committed to tackling big questions facing industry: how can we address the energy transition and enable the scalable investment required to make it a reality? Here’s how we’re doing our part at @DowNewsroom
Today, we honor the life of our friend and colleague, Paul F. Oreffice. During his 40-year tenure at Dow, Paul was a transformative leader who steered the company through significant international growth, helping to shape the company we are today.
His life is a testament to resilience and determination. From fleeing Italy in 1940 and arriving in the U.S. speaking fewer than 50 words of English, to graduating college, serving in the U.S. Army, and rising to the position of CEO at Dow, his story is truly inspirational.
My heartfelt condolences go to the Oreffice family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Incredible performance of Amazing Grace at the Notre Dame Cathedral today.
Had a great experience sharing the stage during @GulfPetChem's #GPCAForum with @Kadriilham and Mark Eramo discussing the future of the petrochemical and chemical industries.
Often the greatest obstacles are the ones we can’t see yet. But we know that once we identify a problem, we can engineer a solution. It’s the very nature of our industry and our people.
