The Preamble explicitly states:
“Reaffirming the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Denmark, and recognizing that the People of Greenland constitute a people pursuant to international law with the right to self-determination.”
Article XI also explicitly acknowledges Greenland’s right to exercise self-determination and become independent.

The only tariffs were agreed upon in USMCA that Trump negotiated and called the best trade deal in history. They were quota based. And were never paid because they never went over the quota.
