Sad to tell you that the Philly Portal did not find a $30ks sponsor and it leaves Philadelphia October 31 . I hear it’s gonna be a snow bird. Stop by and see it in City Hall Courtyard, open every night till 7 PM. It was a great part of philly 2026 connecting us to the world.

Promotion / Relegation soccer is finally coming to America
Starting January of next year, the USL will start its first season with a pyramid structure between its 3 leagues, USL Premier (Division One), USL Championship (Division Two), and USL League One (Division Three), allowing the best performing teams to move their way up in place of teams that finish at the bottom of the league above them
Exciting, no doubt about it. A lot of risk being taken here by those involved, but it should be interesting at the very least to see how the stakes at hand impact the product on the field and the excitement level of each match

I am officially pledging allegiance to USL League 1’s Portland Hearts of Pine. I will follow them and their climb up to USL Premier. Amazing branding and media department, a team that already has a strong connection to the local community, and a club that’s getting a new stadium in coming years. Looking for a new job. Background in ML / data science but the field has shifted so much... Thinking of a big change. Open to in person in the bay or Philadelphia. I'm much better at people / prefer people more than when I last picked jobs. Animal welfare world would be a dream
