K. What's the tea on Jeff Lewis? I didn't watch the first show, but I'm finding this new one endearing (and problematic). I feel like he's always about to flip his lid, but is trying to turn a new leaf... Which is good for TV, but is he the worst?

I'm pretty burnt out from a few months of chaos. Life is finally starting to get back to normal and my body is slowly adjusting to not being in survival mode all the time. Today this munchkin & I are catching up on shows & spending time together. I needed this. So badly.

Feeling so grateful for my home & safe spaces after yesterday's event. I always feel this, but more deeply after PiT. Driving to work in the rain made me incredibly emotional knowing everyone we talked to yesterday is trying to survive this weather. We need to end homelessness!

Today is the 2026 Point in Time Count. Throughout the day, over 150 community and sector volunteers will walk through neighborhoods across Edmonton, connecting with people experiencing homelessness and inviting them to participate in a short survey about their housing experiences. Edmonton’s Point in Time Count in collaboration with, Red Road Healing Society as the designated Indigenous Entity. The Count provides a snapshot of homelessness in our city and helps us better understand how people are experiencing homelessness, how those experiences are changing and where housing and supports are needed. The information collected is a valuable tool for identifying the pathways to homelessness. Data helps advocate for essential resources, increase awareness, and build collaboration within the homelessness-serving sector and across other sectors, such as health and corrections.

I've been working out of our main office for the past couple of weeks and it's VERY different vibes. Biggest difference is that it is weirdly quiet and I can hear every person's shoes. The squeaky shoe noises my be what takes me out. Haha
