Major labels have to run ads to convince you their artists are worth listening to, then send you to 20 links to buy something. 😭 Imagine needing to convince people you’re still necessary while making it harder for them to give you money.

The irony is, the more an artist’s fans attack people on their behalf, the crazier the artist looks when they stay silent. Eventually people stop seeing it as a fan problem and start questioning what kind of person inspires that behavior but never corrects it.

“Biggest media personality,” yet the revenge porn is still up on this account. The music industry keeps funding people who openly exploit women. He even brags that every major label pays him. What does that say about the artists who openly support him?

The funny part is all the bots on Instagram are calling the lawsuit a lie and saying it’s “common sense,” while most of the accounts liking those comments aren’t even real. Damage control PR. Crisis team type beat.

Somebody needs to start a fraud class using examples of people who still haven’t been caught or punished. The whole course would be about what NOT to do. The fact that you’re learning from the curriculum is entirely your responsibility. 😂

We have awards for the biggest song, the biggest artist, the biggest label, and the biggest executive. Where is the recognition for building an artist who never has to depend on a gatekeeper again?

When an artist wins, you take credit for putting them on. When they struggle, it’s suddenly their responsibility. If all you gave them was a moment, what did you really help them build?

I still think about the coldest night of my life and how I prayed for the sun to come up. When it finally did, I ran outside and didn’t even care that it was still freezing. Makes you wonder how many things we overlook every day that someone else is desperately wishing for.

You spent your whole life making sure future generations would never forget you, but you made their lives so much harder they might never care enough to learn your name. You thought you were building a legacy. You were building the reason nobody cares about it.

I’ve learned you can lose an opportunity without ever making the decision to give it up. Intention has an expiration date.

I could literally sell an AI service that runs a network of accounts, generates different comments, has them like and reply to each other, and makes it look like everybody agrees an artist is the next big thing. Basically, automate peer pressure and invoice the artist. 😂

People will think you’re crazy before they ever consider that you might actually know something they don’t.

People used to say don’t take advice from someone who hasn’t done it. Now we’re entering an era where people can use AI to sound like they’ve done just about anything. Knowing how to talk about it and actually doing it are two different things.

Execution mode. Three things went from idea to reality this week.
