Fighters in the 90s worked. Even ones who were wrongly called defensive. Whitaker was very offensive. He just wasn't a ko artist. The only elite fighters of this era thar work like guys in the 90s are Bam, Inoue, Benavidez and Boots.

Hernandez is a perfect litmus test for Nakatani at 122 here. Seems to be insanely durable, good engine, constant front foot pressure, able to punch with him. Nakatani can still dig in, but his footwork is getting a bit sloppy, needs to tidy it up down the stretch.
