.@tyschmit nailed what many Iowans feel. We grew up on the Hawks and it’s a family tradition. So many incredible memories of watching KF teams with family, none better than 09 walk off at Michigan State with my grandpa.
The world is a worse place today without Eric Zahnd. He was a prosecutors prosecutor — Missouri’s prosecutor. He had a fearlessness and clarity that are all too rare these days. And while much of the focus of the criminal justice system is on perpetrators of crime, what I’ll always remember most is his passion for delivering justice for victims of it. Rest in peace, brother.
