Bates: When No. 9 is out there, this is a completely different football team. I truly believe he's a franchise quarterback. ... You can sleep good at night when you have Michael Penix playing quarterback for you. #Falcons

I’m glad the woman was okay and that the players checked on her immediately. Now let’s talk about that motion Drake is on and reverses out of post-snap. Rees dialed that up multiple times, more often with the TEs. Either a tendency breaker or something they noticed on SF film. 😈

From the post (not Rodgers): “a brutal 17th game” “SHIPPED FRANCHISES ACROSS OCEANS” All for more “dollars to squeeze” of which players get ~half that contributes to higher wages. Rodgers earns slightly more money this year at age 42 ($22.5 million) than he did on average for 5 years in his prime from 2023-2018 (22m) Yes, the NFL is ruthlessly effective at generating revenue, which redounds to the players’ financial benefit. (And I do not like the amount of international games played, either)
Aaron Rodgers sat at that podium in Paris and said out loud what the corporate league office spends millions trying to sanitize. The NFL talks endlessly about “player safety” and “expanding the global game.” But behind closed doors, owners scrapped player-friendly bye weeks, forced a brutal 17th regular-season game, and shipped franchises across oceans simply because there was another dollar to squeeze out of foreign TV markets. While families and players navigate locked-down streets, civil tension, and grueling travel schedules, ownership sits in five-star suites counting international expansion checks. Rodgers doesn't care about league fines anymore. He’s telling you the truth: in the modern NFL, the brand and the balance sheet come first. The humans on the field come second.

“I think that Ian Cunningham specifically deserves a lot of credit for the bets they made along the defensive line this offseason." @robertmays, @davehelman_ and Derrik break down another impressive game from the Atlanta Falcons defensive line.

Felt like the Falcons went empty more than usual to combat some of the pressure looks they’ve seen recently. Becoming more common to spread teams out like this to clear up the picture for the protection and QB. And gives chance for quick hitters behind the blitz.
After an ABYSMAL performance by the big boys in pass protection... They had a huge bounce back game!!! The 49ers blitzed on 37.14% passing downs and only got a 14.29% Pressure Rate!!! 0 Sacks 0 QB Hits THAT'S HUGE!!! Per @SumerSports

Kendal Daniels WON the game for the Atlanta Falcons by intercepting Brock Purdy on a potential game-tying drive and then recovering the fumble by George Kittle! What an amazing story after being carted off the field last week! #NFL #AtlantaFalcons #KendalDaniels #Swipa

Kevin Stefanski called it remarkable. Kendal Daniels said it was the craziest week of his life. Whatever it was turned out to be something nobody expected, as the rookie linebacker shines for the Falcons, just one week after he was rushed the hospital. si.com/nfl/falcons/onsi/falc…

The Falcons largest gain today was only 21 yards. But they scored 29 points via turnovers (field position), kick returns (field position) and few negative plays. They had four straight 10+ play drives (two on each side of halftime) to take control. Late takeaways held it up.

What a story for Kendal Daniels. A week ago at this time he was in an ambulance on his way to Grady Hospital.
