🚨 BREAKING: Two people were arrested this morning in Chicago in an alleged $29.7 million SNAP fraud scheme.
Per the DOJ, they allegedly used their food stores to run thousands of fake food purchases. They were indicted in the Southern District of Ohio and are charged with multiple felonies.
Assistant Attorney General McDonald: "There is no program too noble for a fraudster. They will take whatever they can no matter the financial cost and no matter the human toll."
In Massachusetts, prosecutors filed a complaint against a two-time felon and Dominican national suspected to be in the country illegally.
Steal from hungry kids, and the DOJ is coming for you.

Katie was violently killed on the streets of sanctuary Urbana, Illinois on January 19, 2025, one day before President Trump took office.
On January 22, her killer was captured in Texas, just north of the Mexican border.
But critical questions went unanswered. Illinois explicitly told me it was not interested in investigating who may have helped him flee.
Did friends, associates, or organizations assist him? Who helped him get that far? These questions deserved investigation, not indifference.
Katie deserved answers.
The public and Illinoians deserved answers.
A serious investigation should have pursued every credible lead to establish how he reached Texas and whether anyone helped him evade justice.

ILLEGAL KICKBACKS were also reported with these adult daycares. How the scam works is the daycares will sign people up and offer them $1,000 per month cash
The adult daycare can bill about $120 per day to taxpayers. So they make about $3,600 per person and give the person $1,000 of it per month back as a kickback
So they pocket $2,600. The person with the Medicaid insurance gets $1,000

When my grandparents came here from Italy, nobody was kissing their asses trying to make them comfortable.
There was no “press 2 for Italian.” No expectation that the cashier, bank teller, or guy at the DMV spoke Italian. And they sure as fck didn’t demand it.
They learned English, worked their asses off, raised their families, and became proud Americans. They never forgot their roots, but they understood something we’ve apparently forgotten.
They came to America. America didn’t come to them.
Now expecting people to learn English is somehow controversial?
Give me a friggin break.
Be proud of your heritage. Speak whatever language you want at home. But don’t expect an entire country to adapt to you.
My grandparents came here to become Americans, not to turn America into Italy.
And I refuse to apologize for believing that still matters.
