The Patriots finished the regular season 9-1, matching Nolensville's record while earning the head-to-head victory that settled the region race. Cameron Kruse powered Page with four touchdowns, throwing three scoring passes and adding a rushing touchdown. His ability to threaten defenses with both his arm and legs gave the Patriots multiple ways to attack. Isaac Otey supplied an spark with a 36-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. His decisive cuts and physical running helped establish the ground game, giving Page the balance needed against a Knights team that had allowed just 58 points in its first nine games. Ryder Casillas delivered a defining second-half play, turning a short completion near the line of scrimmage into a 64-yard touchdown. He also contributed defensively, pursuing runners into the backfield and providing coverage in the secondary. For Nolensville, Tristen Lithmexay remained a central offensive weapon as both a runner and receiver out of the backfield. The result capped a strong closing stretch for Page. After its lone defeat, a 20-14 loss at Brentwood, the Patriots won six consecutive games. That run included victories over Henry County, Centennial, Lawson, Independence and Hillsboro before Friday's championship-clinching road win. Page finished its four region games unbeaten, outscoring Centennial, Lawson, Hillsboro and Nolensville by a combined 165-17. The Patriots had shut out their first three region opponents before surrendering 17 points to the Knights in the finale. Nolensville entered 9-0 with five shutouts and wins over Lebanon, Summit, Overton, Blackman, Tullahoma, Lawson, Hillsboro, Centennial and Rossview. Page's 38 points were the most the Knights allowed during the regular season. Both teams now turn toward the playoffs. Page carries a region championship and a six-game winning streak into November; Nolensville begins its postseason looking to rebound from its first loss.

JohnCrossPhotography.com Page 7 Independence 3 Page’s defense and a fourth-quarter touchdown by Isaac Otey carried the Patriots to a hard-earned 7–3 victory at Independence on Thursday, October 8. The strongest statistical story was Page’s defense. The Patriots held Independence to its lowest scoring total of the season and kept the Eagles out of the end zone. Independence had scored 56, 28 and 28 points in its previous three games—an average of 37.3 points—before managing just three against Page. Likewise Page had scored over 40 points in each of it's last two games, yet Independence held them scoreless until late in the 4th quarter. JohnCrossPhotography.com In case you were curious.... In TSSAA history, what is the very best record for wins and losses and goals scored, versus goals scored against, in women's soccer? John, 25–0 is the best perfect-season record I could verify. TSSAA lists separate records for scoring and defense, rather than one combined “best season” ranking. Measure Team and year Record Highest-win perfect seasons I verified Germantown, 1999; Houston, 2017 25 wins, 0 losses, 0 ties. Most goals scored in a season Knoxville Grace, 2016 197 scored, 14 allowed—a +183 goal differential. Fewest goals allowed in a season, as listed by TSSAA Franklin, 1989 2 allowed in 18 games, with an 18–0 record. Most consecutive shutouts Franklin, 1991 21 straight shutouts. For a complete comparison, Houston’s undefeated 2017 team finished 25–0 and outscored opponents 111–9. That is a verified outstanding season, although I cannot certify it as the best combination in all TSSAA history. Your current Franklin chart—16–0 with a 97–0 scoring margin—puts the defensive records within reach. Five more consecutive shutouts would tie the listed 21-game streak. Finishing the entire season with zero goals allowed would better the lowest season total currently published in TSSAA’s record book.
