In early October, the junta sent two columns out of Indaw, one toward Wuntho and one toward Htigyaing. Together they numbered an estimated 300–500 troops at the start. Reports state they suffered hundreds of casualties, including killed and defected troops, and say both columns are surrounded and unable to advance. The Wuntho-bound column has also reportedly abandoned its original objective and is now trying to link up with the second column.

A junta soldier hiding between banana trees tried to shoot down the FPV drone searching for him, and gave away his position in the process.

Tried Claude Opus 5.5 for geolocation a few times. It never found the location. Best case: an SNA camp between Homalin and Sezin (screenshot below from FB). It checked GEarth and Esri, failed, and after I told it where, said it was “the boundary between two of my scan frames.”

Another case: a junta drone video from around Sittwe. It checked GEarth and Esri again and couldn’t find the spot. I then had it build a KML of ponds from Sentinel-2 NDWI. That worked, but it missed the two ponds in the video.

A junta ZSL-92 was hit by a KIA/KPDF FPV drone in Bhamo. There is no aftermath footage, but it's likely that the hit at minimum took out the vehicles gun
