Exactly. We don't need to do dei in reverse.
My daughter will start flying lessons in a little over a year.
She doesn’t want to be a pilot, but she thinks it will look good on a college application. Fine by me; I don’t care if she ever touches an airplane again after she gets her license…I just think it will teach her confidence, to remain calm in a crisis & most importantly, that nobody is coming to save you. You must rely on yourself & the stakes are real.
I’ve flown w/ plenty of female pilots. Some were not great, but at about the same rate that some male pilots weren’t great. I remember Nanette, keeping the KC-10 steady in Afghanistan with only the standby attitude indicator after we lost literally everything else. Just humming along, like she did it everyday, and listening as we worked the checklists.
I guess my point is that immediately blaming the female is out of bounds. Maybe she did have something to do with it, but so do males. By the way, the fact that you hear her voice on the radio means she wasn’t the one flying the jet…she was the “Pilot Monitoring” & runs the radios / navigation.
We learn things from every crash. This one will eventually make it into a lesson plan, and students will hear the tapes. It’s not pleasant, but understanding what the cockpit environment may be like in an emergency is an important lesson. Panic is your enemy & causes you to make mistakes like shutting down the wrong engine. You must fight it, but…eventually there is probably a moment you know the fight has been lost and you are going to die.
I might scream, too.
There are multiple ways you leave this profession, but it comes down to two scenarios:
One day, you’ll stroll out to the jet knowing this is your last flight, with your family & friends in attendance. There will be a party after.
Or…
One day, you’ll stroll out to the jet not knowing it’s your last flight.
We hope for the former & prepare for the latter.
If your VERY FIRST reaction to watching a horrific Learjet crash is “That looks fake,” “It was a missile,” or “Where’s the debris?” then congratulations. You’ve just identified yourself as the perfect mark for every conspiracy grifter on the internet.
It’s the same breathtaking stupidity that gave us the 9/11 Pentagon “missile” and “missing debris” conspiracy theories.
A horrific tragedy unfolds before your eyes, and before you know a single fact, your first instinct is to invent a conspiracy. STFU & GTFO!
You’re not “just asking questions.” You’re broadcasting your ignorance, your gullibility, and your complete inability to distinguish evidence from bullshit.
And the people exploiting these tragedies know EXACTLY who you are. They know how to manipulate you, outrage you, and keep you coming back for another helping of manufactured mystery.
They turn human suffering into conspiracy content, and you eagerly spread it for them.
You think you’re exposing a cover-up. You’re actually exposing how easily you can be played.
The grifters have a product. You’re the customer.

I have great news for fans of political ideology! I'm announcing the creation of two brand new and original political ideologies
Ideology #1 'Libertarianism But We Don't Trade With People Who Want To Kill Us' This is exactly the same as regular libertarianism but you also believe that you should not trade with people who want to kill you
Ideology #2 'Esoteric Libertarianism/Esoteric Anarcho-capitalism' This is also the same as the regular version but you have realized that spreading libertarianism to the masses was a terrible mistake because now it's too embarrassing to be publically associated with
Therefore, you now pursue libertarianism or anarcho-capitalism as a secret society seeking only to emancipate your members from the state, leaving the vulgar masses to suffer statist oppression like they clearly deserve
I think these fill very important niches in the ideology sphere and look forward to seeing how they develop

remx is redefining what capitalism is.
Capitalism is the protection of private property and the freedom of exchange.
Much of which has been tainted by governments trying to fix short term market fluctuations and in doing so has created long term incentives which are detrimental.
Tony makes the mistake of thinking of money as being a thing to be collected.
It is not.
It is just a medium of exchange.
It just facilitates trading of one good or service for another.
Blade of the sun ignores supply and demand curves.
Oh man, I've started using grokbot:
It uses a different pool of tokens to grok build.
I can voice vibecode while I do housework.
It can actual "play" the game and use the ui, it's already suggested and fixed some UX issues.
I set up a github account for it to use, and I have it do PRs to the main fork.
