My Dad used to say to me ‘The highest honour is to serve others, to lead is to serve.’
Before I touch on my journey I’d like to thank everyone I've come across through the sport for giving me the opportunity to serve.
It’s been truly an honour to play the sport I love. It’s an experience you can't put into words. I love that the game tests your character. The highs, the lows, the lessons and the challenges shape you.
You understand at times the storms necessary.
This month was the first time I looked back at my journey. The loan window stood out for me.
I’ve had a unique career where I've experienced going on loan 12 times. Learning the culture and philosophy of each club, building relationships whilst adapting to new environments.
When you understand the difficulty it’s important to take up that responsibility for others.
The game taught me so much.
I want to thank everyone who has played a part in my career; family, friends, players, coaches, managers, clubs and the fans.
You gave me everything.
As I step into my new role @motherwellfc as a first team coach, I am excited to give back to the game that has given me so much.
