Thanks @ZenEducate Jonathon introducing me to the wonderful @StJohnsCE. I loved talking about the ‘Power of Yet’, how I became a performer, singing in your assembly and working with your amazing choir! @WeAreBDAT – at Bradford, England

Thank you Jonathon from @ZenEducate for introducing the children to @SorayaMafi this morning. The children were absolutely blown away with the singing. Soraya's 'Power of Yet' journey was really inspirational! @StJohnsCE @WeAreBDAT The choir really enjoyed their workshop too!

Bruce eloquently highlights Sir Alex Ferguson's genius, his immaculate understanding of the game, and his ability to predict game outcomes even before they began. This interview is truly astonishing.

Brilliant. I read the Glyndebourne annual accounts this morning and a key stat to use is that for every £1 of Arts Council funding Glyndebourne add £2.33 for the Tour and the Engagement programme. There’s a great graphic on impact too in their 2021 annual report. Happy ranting! – at Kensington, London

Without @glyndebourne tour and @E_N_O, where in the hell are young British opera singers going to go to cut their teeth and be heard by International companies?! @ace_national - what is the future for British conservatories when there’s going to be NO JOBS?! Utterly shameful. – at Rouen, France

I remember first hearing Soraya as a young artist at the @LudlowEngSong festival a few years ago - it’s so lovely when musicians whose talent is spotted early on turn out to be every bit as accomplished as people predicted. – at Presteigne, Wales

I would love for Manchester to have a resident opera company, but the answer isn’t taking the wonderful @E_N_O out of the capital, denying their loyal audience access to their work & displacing their workers & families. #ChooseOpera #ILoveENO – at Urmston, England
The soprano @SorayaMafi appears on @BBCRadio4 #FrontRow tonight to chat more about the @E_N_O's move to Manchester and what that might mean to hear 🎶

It astounds me to hear "well I could never ever vote Labour it would be absolutely disastrous" without a second's thought. What was it about 1997-2010 that was so unbearable for you? Seeing a GP? Getting a filling? Decent welfare system? Schools being built? Well fed kids? What?
