There’s some really bad all-league choices around the state. Metro League, what are we doing?
Jordan Hicks retweeted
I would’ve had Cade Mitchell 1st, Spencer York 2nd, but I can totally buy an argument that, going off statistics, you could go York > Mitchell.
You can’t get me to Mitchell 3rd team.
He’s a top-2 - at worst - QB in the whole state.
Metro League is solid, but not the TRL.

Haters gonna always hate @CadeMitchell08 been like that since day 1 😂 we’ve been here before

To add some context:
An Offense that is 3rd in 6A in Scoring, with 3 games against top 10 opponents - has ZERO 1st Team All League selections
A Defense that held 3 out of 5 league opp. to 7 points or less - has only 3 1st Team All League selections
Something’s not adding up.

One of the best in the 2026 class and has been since his sophmore year! 3 year starter, multi year all league selection, and overall a great young man and football player!
