30-Day Challange: No-Coding “AI Tool” Product Development I am sharing a story that is the beginning of something absolutely new and exciting! Yesterday I had an amazing discussion with @CopySutra. It was about many things, but mainly getting to know each other, and I was looking for guidance on how to proceed here on Twitter. We had the following conversation 😂: (Check the VIDEO) I realized last night #buildinpublic helped many-many creators, and I know 2 of them already @Luc_AI_Insights and @JorisTechTalk Long story short, I am starting a 30-Day challenge (Joining your challenge Alex @NorthstarBrain ) where I build an AI tool and share the progress, learnings, and frustrations with all of you. I will share the rules and details in an upcoming post. Join me on this super exciting journey! One more thing: To make the challenge even harder, I will try to do this with no coding (or at least low coding) so every one of you can copy me and create their own product to monetize your Twitter 💪💪🚀

🤔 Using @langchain to Chat with Earnings Reports of Companies In our article, we build a plotly dash web app (@plotlygraphs) to compare the Q1 interim reports of Tesla, Mercedes Benz and BMW.  The steps are as follows: Document Loading → Document Splitting → Vector database and Embeddings → Retrieval and LLM Inspired by @JorisTechTalk and @hwchase17 Published in @towardsfinance. ChatGPT with 75,000 words input? @AnthropicAI got you covered. They've increased Claude input from 9k tokens to 100k a couple of weeks ago. Here are some interesting use-cases. Second one might be interesting for Indie Hackers and build in public community. 🧵 #AI

You need to be ai maxxing. You need to tap into incomplete GitHub repositories, gather know-how from builders, implement fringe papers on arxiv. You need to be scouring for the web for unknown datasets. You need to talk to your grandma and distant cousin about ChatGPT.

Creating good prompts is easy when you follow the right framework. It takes out all of the guesswork and allows you to create highly reliable prompts to automate your tasks. Here's my step-by-step checklist approach to creating a great prompt. 👇 I've come to this checklist after reading lots of research papers and GitHub repos. And then I've started to compile their best practices for using them to create my own prompts. Attached below is a (reduced) snippet of one of the prompts I use to edit my writing. Step 1: Assign a role. Assigning a role to your AI counterpart will make him adopt the behaviors of the role you give to him. This one is rather obvious, but often overlooked. And as you move on further, you will realize that the overarching theme of a good prompt is to control the behavior of the AI, all the while giving him enough room to be creative. It's really a hard balance to strike, if you ask me. 2. Give it a clear, descriptive, and precisely accurate task. Next, give a clear, descriptive, and accurate task for it. If you can provide detailed descriptions in your prompts, the better. Often times, you can even break down bigger tasks into smaller ones. 3. Provide as much context as you can. Now, provide context. Include everything in your prompt that you think will help it do a better job and produce output that will be useful to you. In the example below, you will see that I gave it where I plan to publish my writing, what writing style I like, and you can give it a lot more context that you think will help. So, get creative here. 4. Provide examples. As some say, show don't tell. Examples will help the AI visualize exactly what you mean. So stuff it with examples of the tasks you want it to achieve. 5. Create a list of rules for the AI. Now, give a list of rules that you want the AI to follow in the final output. At this point, you might think that we are getting redundant, but sometimes redundancy is key to get the most out of your models. So, go ahead and list everything you want the AI to do. 6. Create a list of constraints. Similarly, you will also want to create a list of constraints for what you don't want the AI to do. I personally like to separate what I want the AI to do and what I don't want it to do in two different instructions because I believe this yields better outputs. 7. Evaluate/improve/iterate. Lastly, you will rarely create the perfect prompt to automate a time-consuming task from the start. So, it is essential that you iterate and improve over time. In short, create your prompt, save it somewhere handy, and next time try to make the prompt a little better. And that's it. If you liked this step-by-step checklist, please bookmark this post for later reference. Do you have any other prompt engineering tips? Let me know in the comments down below.

I have always hoped for the field to evolve towards open sourced models that are fine-tuned for specific tasks. And on that tune, I just read a paper that caught my attention. The researchers fine-tuned a model just for making API calls, and outperformed GPT-4 in this task.

Most people think that you have to be a programming expert to create an AI app. Not true at all, beginner Python skills are already enough to get you started. You can easily build the backend of your AI app with just a few lines of code using @langchain Chains. Here's how 👇
