There are always moments that remind you why you love baseball.
I’ve been fortunate to experience plenty of those in 2026, and watching this young man continue to develop has been one of them.
I’m proud of the work he puts in and even more proud of the person he’s becoming. Excited to see where this journey takes him.
Good win at Kickapoo, made some mechanical tweaks felt smoother on the mound. @PooBaseball @fsccbaseball @PrepBaseballMO

A simple lesson young players can gain from professionals:
Attention to detail.
Slow down. Be intentional with what you are working on.

5 total college offers between two cy young winners. Probably not a big deal if your 12 yr old has a rough tournament.

Dylan Smith, a junior, tossed a no-no for Kickapoo to help Howser reach the milestone.
This comes just two weeks after @GHSBaseballSPS skipper Jim Julian hit No. 400.
A lot of good, experienced ball coaches in this area.

Looking for the “secret sauce” to separate yourself from your competition? Stuff that really works? Future HOF, Adam Wainwright, shares his special recipe! If you are after greatness, I highly recommend you listen to this clip in its entirety, and apply his sauce generously. Thank you @UncleCharlie50 for this incredible insight into how you transformed your career into a 200 win pitcher, which included closing out a World Series!

Getting in a "good throw" is not throwing for 10 mins.
Keep this in mind -
10 mins of throwing is 5 mins per person (thx Andy Mckay).
Factor in the ball in the air + exchange, and ur looking at ~3 1/2 mins per person.
Food 4 thought the next time u go out to Condition ur arm.
Thank you @OzarksOzone for getting this picture of Skyli at last night's Kickapoo football game! This future Lady Chief loves cheering for the Brown and Gold when she is not trying to get candy from the concession stand. Wishing our softball team the best of luck today!
