Alpenglow is now active on Solana mainnet 🏔️🏔️ Kudos to the engineers at @anza_xyz for years of hard work, to the validator operators in the test clusters, and to everyone who helped make this happen through contributions big and small!

BULL BREAKING: ⚠️ 151 Solana Validators Still Unprepared for the Alpenglow Upgrade Data from @pumpkinspool shows that 151 validators controlling 20.3% of Solana’s network stake, worth approximately 88.9M $SOL, have yet to prepare for the Alpenglow hard upgrade scheduled for epoch 1064. @anza_xyz and the Solana Foundation have issued advisories warning that validators who fail to migrate will be blocked from voting and producing blocks after the upgrade takes effect. The transition requires validators to upgrade to Agave 4.3.2, activate a BLS key, and fund each vote account with 0.8 $SOL. With a significant share of stake still unprepared, validator readiness is a key factor to watch as Solana approaches this network upgrade.

The number of validators who aren't ready is higher than before because it now includes validators who haven't upgraded to 4.3.2 - which Anza has recommended for Alpenswitch. About a day and a half left. I think we'll see a lot of validators moving into compliance tomorrow. Track cluster compliance yourself here: pumpkinspool.com/watchtower/…

Added a client check to this and the results are less than ideal for activation in less than 2 days. Validators - it's go time: - Move to an Agave based client - preferably 4.3.2 - Fund your vote account with at least 0.8 SOL - Make sure you set your BLS pubkey If you need help, please reach out to us on the Solana Tech Discord. pumpkinspool.com/watchtower/…

41 validators funded their vote accounts since Tuesday. That's good progress, but we still have 95 to go. pumpkinspool.com/watchtower/…

I’m nosey and really want to know what’s in his briefcase….
LEWIS HAMILTON ARRIVED AT MONZA AND HE DIDN'T COME TO PLAY😅😅. Media day today, and the paddock expected a normal van arrival. Lewis came driving HIS OWN FERRARI F40. The same one that was sitting in dust for 30 years that Ferrari Maranello just brought back to life for him. Red F40, plate "44", roaring through the gates of Monza. The sound alone made mechanics run out of the garages. And the fit? Black tailored suit, open shirt, tan wool overcoat draped on the shoulders like a cape, black beret, tinted shades. Not paddock clothes MILAN FASHION WEEK clothes. He looked like he owns Monza, not like he works here. This is his first Monza as a Ferrari driver. Last year he came on a Ducati tricolore. This year? He brought art. Because in his own words: "These cars are works of art." From a kid in Stevenage to pulling up at the Temple of Speed in an F40 with plate 44. Aura: 1000% Sir Lewis Hamilton has arrived in monza😎. #LH44 #F1 #ItalianGP 🇮🇹

It’s concerning that Helius remained delinquent for the full 33-minute outage. Large validators carry significant responsibility, and this raises fair questions about their on-call coverage and incident-response readiness. Company size should enable faster response times, but in practice we see that they are usually slower - and in this case, there was no response at all. We got paged the moment the stake went offline - and we were prepared to coordinate with the cluster. There's no excuse for the largest validators on the chain not reacting to the chain almost halting.
Replying to @MarinadeFinance
8/ Helius is the second biggest validator on Solana. Down the full 33 minutes. Of the 74 we could measure, three came back clean. @laine_sa_ and @Cogent_Crypto both @solstrategies, plus Lion3d.

Things are getting fun now. I am literally praying for Solana at $30 and BTC at like 45k. Some alts will look great too with BTC at those prices. This is one of the biggest buying opportunities you will have in this entire bear market. The buying window has started. These are the generational opportunities that will help you make it in life and retire your family. I know it because I lived this same shit in now 3 cycles with Solana. It just works. Conviction works. Ignore all the drama and crying on the timeline. Ignore all the “hype flipped solana” bullshit. Stay sharp and patient. DCA in what you believe in and stop consuming so much dumb ct content. This may be it my friend. This can be that huge win that you prayed for. Lock the fuck in my brothers n sisters. Manifesting abundance for every single one of you. You truly deserve this and more. Claim what’s yours.

Tonight’s family dinner turned into a crypto onboarding session. I witnessed my 17 yr old daughter help my sister-in-law create a @solflare wallet and then guided her through staking her SOL with @pumpkinspool! Pretty cool moment!

This past February, Pumpkin’s Pool teamed up with Dundee Elementary for a donation that was all about kids helping cats. Dundee’s Student Council and Kindness Club collected boxes of supplies for Felius Cat Cafe, then brought them over in person. The students got to spend time at the cafe, meet the cats, and learn how Felius takes cats in, cares for them, and helps them find homes. We also made our monthly donation to Felius via the Solana blockchain! It took some time to onboard them to accept payments on Solana, but it was worth the wait! Seeing kids show up with donations for shelter cats was awesome. Being able to pair that with an on-chain donation made it even better!

SolanaFloor is back. As of today, we are thrilled to announce that SolanaFloor has been acquired by @jito and will resume operations under the Jito Foundation’s ownership while maintaining full editorial independence. After announcing a wind-down in February 2026 following an exploit tied to our parent organization, we explored external financing and acquisition options. However, the team was unable to secure a viable path forward at the time, leaving a gap in independent coverage of onchain activity across the Solana ecosystem. Now, we can resume operations. While SolanaFloor will operate under Jito Foundation ownership, all editorial decisions including story selection, data presentation, and coverage priorities will remain fully independent of Jito Foundation’s activities, partnerships, and interests. The mission remains unchanged: documenting the ongoing rise of the Solana ecosystem and providing clear, unbiased research and journalism. It’s a critical time for the chain. Spot $SOL ETFs have crossed $1B in AUM. The ecosystem is gradually institutionalizing. New DeFi tools and integrations emerge every day. The need for independent Solana coverage has never been more apparent. “When SolanaFloor went dark, the ecosystem lost something difficult to replace,” said @brian_smith_0 , President of Jito Foundation. “This acquisition is about filling the gap with a platform that operates from a position of editorial independence. Jito has a long term stake in the health of the Solana ecosystem, and that means investing in the infrastructure and public goods that keeps the community informed.” Additional details on the relaunch -- including editorial structure, commercial offerings, and team updates -- will be shared soon.

After this email, I will officially be ending my run with @WellsFargo. There aren’t enough fingers and toes on my body to count how many mishaps with this bank have caused overdraft fees, accounts being compromised, hours wasted on the phone and in store for the most basic services. Not to mention their pitiful communication when they sold my home loan to some no-name entity. This scare tactic is shallow and fear mongering. The real enemies are the banks who prey on the lower/middle class with their excessive fees, the “it’s posted, but is the money there?” moments, the “wait several business days to use your own money” approach, and the feelings of being passed along from one agent to the next, to only be dismissed and left to solve the problem by being forced to visit a branch. The future of $$ doesn’t need 3-5 days! Crypto is the real exit ramp from pending to permissionless!
