Abel's a truck driver in the Bakersfield CA area grape harvest. Once the grapes have been picked & packed, he & his team mate load the hundreds of boxes onto the trailer. Depending on the variety, the boxes easily weigh 20 pound each. The high this day was 106°. #WeFeedYou #Calor

I met a 78 year old man who recently started sleeping at a park I take supplies to.
He broke his back working construction. When he got out of the hospital, he had been evicted.
A lifetime of his belongings had been thrown away by his landlord.

The California snowpack is a ridiculous 245% of normal and 120% of the peak average snowpack.
This is by far the largest mid-January snowpack the state has had in recorded history.
Some locations near the Sierra Crest have seen over 500 inches of snow since November!
