The Department of Education is simultaneously cutting staff by 50% *and* trying to ramp up debt collection efforts on student loans *while* gutting affordable repayment plans, raising people's bills and being unresponsive to its own errors. This system is a disaster.

The Devils is still a very important film today for many reasons but one of the simplest being that the government will use some culture war bullshit to manufacture hysteria and distract you as a means to an end

Hey @peacock @nbc when I canceled my Peacock subscription I forgot to write one of the big reasons, which is I find it absolutely disgraceful that you continually run the anti @amyactonoh ad OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN, like you have an Obsession with MAGA.
Shameful!

The closest theater with the Musk documentary in Seattle is 30 miles out of town in Auburn. It has been pulled from all other Seattle theaters.
That tells you how damaging it is. And the fact that Musk has not filled a defamation lawsuit against it tells you how accurate it is.

Please watch this - Nathan and David couldn't agree about Elizabeth Holmes lying or being genuine- so they turned this confusion into the central thesis of YCSE
neither could the cast.
I think Elizabeth has an ultra focused RDF that only works 1:1 via eye contact. And in the movie we're all seeing the effects of this causing a dissonance between those affected and those who aren't.

Ohio, let's do what we can to elect @AmyActonOH as your next Governor and @SherrodBrown as your next U.S. Senator! They’ve dedicated their lives to fighting on behalf of all Ohioans.
If we’re willing to organize and mobilize, if we’re willing to turn out in big numbers in Ohio and across this country, if we’re willing to vote for change and vote for Democrats up and down the ballot, then this election might just mark the moment this country began moving in a better direction.
So make a plan to vote today at IWillVote.com/OH.
This is actually quite insane, in a good way, if you think about his entire filmography and how some of the films are considered classics and it's above them! 👍👏 #DiggerNation
Now I'm going to have to make my Tom Cruise @letterboxd list and see where DIGGER falls.

Denis Villeneuve is the latest filmmaker to praise Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s DIGGER (2026), calling it “a furious comedy,” “a very important movie” and comparing its climate-change satire to Stanley Kubrick’s DR. STRANGELOVE.
Villeneuve also praised the film’s practical effects, handmade miniatures and Tom Cruise’s performance, concluding: “I think it’s a total success.”
