I slept early last night and had a dream that the cobblestone road (Umuhanda w' amabuye) from Gisimenti down to Sonatubes had been tarmacked 🛣️! But alas, I regret to say the dream was untrue! For as long as there's a dream, there is hope 😅! The dreams we dare to dream!

I just landed on a book, a biography or portrait of @titorutaremar44 at a bookshop. Imagine the excitement! Then it turns out it’s in kinyarwanda! What meanness is this?🤷🏽‍♀️ A book about Dr. Rutaremara and the author decided it should be in only kinyarwanda?🤔

1. The Arco lamp was designed by brothers Pier Giacomo and Achille Castiglioni in 1962. The Coffee table is part of a Cascading or Waterfall set of three, made of recycled pieces of all woods found in Rwanda, collected in Gakinjiro. I did not buy the wood; I paid the carpenter for the labor and fine finishing. 4. The Arne Jacobsen’s red swivel was taken from Michael Jordan's living room in "The Last Dance"; 5. The books in that shelf are "easy-read novels", to inspire young people to read again. The entrance shelf has books about Rwandan history and politics, next to a Grand Piano in crystal... At views, every piece of furniture has history: 4000 years of history in 1200m²: a blend of classics, traditional, and modern art. I sometimes struggle to understand our hospitality sector. We have many beautiful hotels and restaurants, but the portions of food are often very small, the prices quite high, and in some places the standards do not match what one would expect. Yesterday after having lunch at a well known place with a friend from the region , i still felt hungry and ended up passing by Freedom Restaurant in Kisementi just to have a proper meal. Something must not be right somewhere!

I know him since I’m 11 years old. At the time he was one of the heads of the Army and Police. Elders used to like me because they said I was a genius. (Young people today don’t agree..) Elder and real estate magnate Karera is an inspiration for a successful transition from public service into private sector. I look up to him. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
