In his draft budget, Mayor Perry is considering a reduction of up to £12m to the Council Tax Support Scheme.
This could potentially impact 19,000 households.

We join Star Trek fans in mourning the loss of actor Walter Koenig. He joined the cast of the original Star Trek television series in its second season as Russian navigator Pavel Chekov, a key member of the Enterprise crew. Koenig portrayed Chekov in two seasons of the original series and all six of the original series major motion pictures.

Rest in peace #WalterKoenig who played Pavel Chekhov in #StarTrek - I met him almost a decade ago and he was so down to earth and enjoyed meeting Star Trek fans.
Having a Russian character on USA TV in the Cold War showed a future where we could work together peacefully.

The recent incident on Green Lane underscores the urgent need for improved road safety.
At Full Council, I called on the Mayor of Croydon to introduce effective traffic-calming measures and provide a proper pedestrian crossing.
We will continue pressing the Council for meaningful action and clear next steps. Our residents deserve safer roads and safer journeys.
Thank you to everyone supporting our campaign for safer streets. Together, we must keep pushing for change.

The last Tory Govt shelved it 🤯
This Labour Govt has committed to it🌹

Thanks to @SadiqKhan, hospital admissions of young people following knife assaults have more than halved.
Inspiring to hear young boxers in Norbury speak with pride about how their club has changed their lives.
One million Londoners reached. Thousands fewer victims of violence.
Our @LDN_VRU is helping turn the tide, with hospital admissions for young people injured in knife assaults down 55% since 2019.
This shows what prevention can achieve, but there’s more to do.
