My 7-month-old baby is currently admitted at the National Hospital, Abuja, battling serious health challenges. He has a low blood level and concerns about his kidney function. The doctors have requested additional tests to determine the appropriate treatment.
My husband and I have exhausted all our finances on previous tests, treatments and hospital bills. We are now struggling to raise the money needed for these additional investigations, which are essential for our baby's continued medical care.
The required tests and their costs are:
1. Vitamin D Assay (D2 25-OH & D3 1.25-OH: ₦101,800
2. Growth Hormone Assay: ₦125,600
3. Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1): ₦125,600
4. Sodium, 24-hour urine: ₦7,700
5. Potassium, 24-hour urine: ₦7,700
6. Phosphate, 24-hour urine: ₦7,700
7. AM Cortisol Test: ₦26,800
