It happened Tuesday at a government school in Panchkula, India. Police say the boy led her into an empty classroom and attacked her, leaving her unconscious and critically injured. When her family arrived searching for her, it was the same boy who walked them to where she was lying. She’s now fighting for her life in the hospital. The classroom had cameras watched from the principal’s office, yet no adult stepped in. Police have opened a case against the school, and the boy is being evaluated by doctors to understand why a child that young would do this. Every parent sends their kid to school trusting someone is watching. How does an 8-year-old end up capable of something like this?
