The Shape of Almost
comes from thinking about the life I imagined for myself and the reality I'm still learning to live with. There have been times when things didn't turn out the way I hoped, when I found myself further from where I wanted to be than I ever expected.
I've learned that life doesn't always give us the outcomes we work towards, but even our disappointments have something to teach us. Sometimes, the things we don't achieve stay with us, shaping how we see ourselves and what we choose to become.
Through this work, I reflect on the space between who I hoped to be and who I'm becoming. For me, not every unfinished story is a failure. Sometimes, there's still meaning in the almost.
