Follow me for dark humor, healing, wellness, court battles, and the grit to never give up or be silenced. Iโm uncovering buried truth in the Deep South in real time.
Unapologetically,

Some people genuinely love complex problems, high stakes, vigorous debate, and the satisfaction of mastering something difficult.
Some people aren't truly interested in repairing the hurt they've caused. Theyโre more concerned with protecting their reputation & making sure the blame never falls on them. Once you recognize this, so many conversations that once left you confused finally begin to make sense.
If there's one thing I've learned, it's that I can be exhausted, overwhelmed, and completely out of patience without ever running out of smart-ass remarks.
The worth of a gift should not be measured by its monetary value only. It must also be understood through what it costs the person giving it.
No one smears your
name better than the
person who is damn
terrified that you are
going to tell people
the truth.
Once you've given something freely, you don't keep presenting the recipient with an emotional bill.
A gift isn't supposed to become a debt that the recipient must continue repaying through gratitude, obedience, or loyalty.
When someone realizes you see right through the image they're trying to project, they will become very hostile toward you.
I've survived things I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, argued with people who should've known better, & learned to laugh when absolutely nothing was funny. Life keeps changing the script, but apparently nobody told the main character she's supposed to quit.
